My wife and I've eaten at Perspectives many times. One of the main reasons is the food. Chef Blackie is one of the great Canadian chefs whose travels have results in an eclectic blend of styles. You can't compare Perspective to a steak house, sushi bar or burger joint but you can get all of these things there. Where Perspective excels is the melding of flavours you wouldn't expect, yet, when you taste them, you're surprised at how they complement each other (e.g., chocolate and wasabi).
I highly recommend the place. Yes, occassionally there may be something that just isn't right, but I'd argue every restaurant has a poor cut of meat every once in a while. If you're a bit brave, try the blind tasting.
The wine selection is excelent with lots of options and a good price range. Service is excelent but not "hovering". The art can be a bit "scary" looking, but there's a story behind it...ask.

We just returned from a wonderful buffet brunch. The food was delicious; especially the roast au jus, salmon and lamb. Desserts were luscious and beautifully presented. Thanks to the Chefs. Thank you Nikki, Julia and Tyler for great service.

Breakfast is very decent. I enjoy it. Rather small, but that's all I need. Service is good. Rooms are amazing. It is a treat to stay the Brook Street and eat at Perscpectives (restaurant).

Great service, beautiful location, and amazing wine selection. I rated the food as 3/10 only because it was not worth the money. At these prices I expected the food to be at least on par with Le Biftec or Al's - it clearly was not. In fairness it may have been a bad piece of meat but again - no excuses for that kind of money.

Just went there with some friends today, very nice place, yummy food and great service! Relaxing music and comfy chairs :P ordered a burger, and it was the best burger I've ever had! :P~

The food was excellent and the service was great! I would definatly eat there again.
