Bombay Masala Indian Cuisine

Ate the lunch buffet which was not hot, just luke warm. The paquoras were greasy tasting. The elder staff didn't seem to understand english very well. Overpriced

This restaurant is overpriced. Their butter chicken is $17 - the average in Ottawa for this is about $12 or $13. Dinner total for two is about $65. THis is much higher than our other fave Indian restaurants (especially Light of India in the Glebe). Also the portions are very small, given the price. The food here is good but if you are willing to drive a bit, you can get a less expensive Indian meal, and more of it, in a nice, dimly lit atmosphere elsewhere (I personally recommend Light of India in the Glebe and Haveli's in the market).

Mother's Day Lunch buffet what a disappointment. They have better food [taste and choice] on their regular lunch buffet. I go their often as I work at Alcatel, but wont recommend anymore.

Service was very good and genuine.Food was awesome! This will be our spot for our Indian food cravings for now on.Owners are extremely friendly and came to our table to say hi.

We ordered off the menu stuff for a late night binge dinner and found the it to be just terrific. This is why this place is above and beyond any other Indian Cusine in Ottawa. Highly Recommended!

Excellent food. The onion bhaji are a must! We had take out. We will definitely go back.

Party of 15+; Excellent Food; Butter Chicken was the best, though it tasted slightly sweet (sugar!). Service was excellent, beyond description. They're in hospitality business unlike other Indian restaurant. Owner talked to us, hugged & shook our hands. Not just my party but they are hospitable to all their clientele! We will definitely go back, again and again.

Delicious Food! Butter Chicken was excellent except for very minute taste of sugar. Service was par excellence! Owner came to talk to us; took good care of not only my party, but was evidently extremely hospitable to all the patrons! The restaurant is run like a hospitality businees, something you hardly see in any Indian restaurant. We will definitely go back.

Wonderful authentic Indian food for eat-in or take-out. I go there as often as I can.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant I've been to in the Ottawa area. It beats Haveli and the Taj hands-down! They cook with lots of fresh ginger, and the spice combinations are amazing. I've heard that the lunch buffet is excellent, but because I work downtown, I'm never there for lunch -- good thing, because I'd surely be getting fat! If you love Indian food, this place is a *MUST*!
