Each Wednesday I take my clients for breakfast at a local eatery in the Windsor Essex County area.
We have visited The Pie Lady four times in the past two months. Our party of five ordered breakfast each time and absolutely love this spot!
The amount of food is plenty and absolutley delicious. The fresh bread is a nice treat.
Make sure you leave room for desert!

We traveled every possible weekend while I was pregnant as I craved Sandi's home cooking and friendly hospitality (always a real turkey club sandwich, hand cut fries & fresh squeezed lemonade & a piece of bumbleberry pie). Beautiful tea room and homey diner style restaurant. Refreshing home-style menu, a great change from all the corporate eating establishments. The pies are phenomenal - everything there is homemade with love.

A wonderful little quaint place with the best pie that we have ever had since Mom used to make. The crust was perfection!!! I would extend the hours because if you get there too late, than they don't serve meals anymore and they don't have a big selection of pies. But other than that, everything was great! The servers were nice and fast and the decor was old-fashioned grandma kitchen-type. When we go back, we will try to get a meal next time. But, go, it will be worth the experience.
- Order: Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie

In this comment it says there are not alot of different kinds of pie. There is over 13 different kinds and specialty kinds of pies you can order as well. So I would like to say that comment is not true.

I frequent this restaurant alot and it is good every time. The locals are a bit older so nothing is too spicy. I have never had anything salty. The atmosphere is country style and quiet. Lots of pies and baked goods are available along with fresh bread. I have had most of them at some point and are all good.

I really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant. Very cozy with a country feel to it. I also like the way the waitresses are dressed. The service was decent, however the food was terrible. My meat was undercooked and it was extremely salty. I took a couple of pies home. They were exceptional. I would go back for the pies but not to dine in the restaurant.

Very quint, relaxed atmosphere. Large portions of home-cooked meals. Prices are reasonable. Hours could be extended, especially on weekends.
