Thai Memory

Delicious!! I love thai food, and this is my favourite resto of the many I have tried throughout the province. The decor brought me back to my travels in Thaliand (missing the gorgeous beaches but capturing the atmosphere & flavourful dishes!) Authentic, friendly, efficient. Definitely recommended!

Best Thai restaurant in the Hamilton area. The food is authentic Thai, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. When we lived in Toronto, we never found a Thai restuarant that we really loved. This place was an incredible find! It's not as trendy as the Thai restauants in Burlington, but you'll find the food, price and atmosphere are best at Thai memory.

Wonderful food, service & surroundings! Thanks to previous Restaurantica reviews, we decided to try Thai Memory - we got hungry just looking at the menu on line. The shrimp chips were a great starter (kids love them). There was something delicious and surprising for everyone on the artfully presented Seafood/Satay appetizer platter which included coconut shrimp, spring rolls, shrimp cake, satay chicken and calamari with jars of dipping sauces and fresh vegetables - very nice dish to behold and to devour! The menu specifies that dishes can be made to your desired spice level, which is perfect for us.... and good to their word, each item was exactly as ordered. The grilled beef was delightful and the red curry chicken was fantastic. This time, we had both the sticky rice and coconut rice to accompany our dinners. With some sampling around the table, we all enjoyed ourselves to complete fullness. The owner attended us and was gracious, friendly, helpful and had an excellent sense for timing of service. Nice touches like bringing fresh tea without being asked are noticed and truly appreciated. Despite that a previous reviewer felt that the surroundings were a bit kitchy, we actually really enjoyed the indoor garden atmosphere, the ample objects to admire and the overall ambiance of a place far and away from the city just outside. We highly recommend Thai Memory and will be regulars at this establishment!

Best Thai restaurant in Hamilton. Noon hour buffet is not to be missed. Friendly and courteous staff. Beautifully decorated, warm and cozy restaurant.

Too bad they don't deliver.

Exceptional Food. Everything was spot on and far above expectation. Food was a little slow, considering it wasn't very busy at the time.

We are so glad we have found this place. It's really amazing. Food is excellent. The sticky rice was so good and perfect for the grilled pork. By the way the green color on the sticky rice is from pandanus leaf. In Asian especially Thailand we use the color from this leaf in cooking. We don't mind having a more colorful dishes. It actually renders a very nice aroma to the rice. They are so creative both in cooking and decorating. In the nutshell, everything was great. Will come again.

very nice restaurant. great decoration, nicely cooked dish, good price and great atmosphere. The owner was really friendly and helpful at recommending dishes. Will definitely go again ! lunch buffet looked good, will try that next.

The sticky rice was coloured (artificial colour?) green for some reason. I didn't like it (I am from Asia!). The soup (with galangal and lemon grass) was good, the meat was ok. The ambience is too gawdy. I don't have to be surrounded by all that " asian kitsch" to enjoy a decent meal (I am a Tocharian from Asia)

This place is AMAZING. I used to like this restuarant when it was Indian, but love it now that it's Thai. The value is unbelievable, and the quality is just fantastic.

I have seen this place before as the building stands out in its area nicely, but have never really given any thought to it untill yesterday, while I was around taking pictures. I thought I would drop by for some lunch and try it out. The decor was amazing and it was fairly busy. The owner was very helpful as this was my first time here. The food was mostly excellent, the rice and (new) spicey chicken spring rolls where amazing. Pad Thai was ok, but rather luke-warm and not as good as My Thai just a few blocks away. The rice was a little luke-warm as well as the green curry shrimp, this is understanable though, being a buffet - the rice was still excellent and the green curry shrimp was still the best I have had in a very long while. Really enjoyed my stay. The owner talked w/ me about my camera and gave me a menu so I would know how to get back.
