meal-mates wanted italian. we looked up places on restaurantica that were close to us. reviews looked good. i was taking a chance that there was something vegetarian on the menu since all the reviews are about the meat sandwiches! but they had a yummy spaghetti with tomato sauce for me. nice spices and very flavourfull!
my companions very much enjoyed their veal sandwiches and both commented on the freshly made bread.

were not very generous. Nice long sandwich on decent bread. Veal was pounded thin and breaded; one layer
on veal on one sandwich half; two on the other half.
Unfortunately, I bit into gristle on two occasions and
had to leave a piece of unchewable meat on the plate
(kinda gross but maybe a good unconscious message).
Kicks ass compared to Capris down town; very similar (without the gristle part) to Alfredos Pizza sandwiches. NIce people; let me eat there despite them obviously getting ready to close (it was before 7PM) & told me
to take their newspaper with me if I wanted it.
I'll try Goldies on Upper James next.

We absolutely love Paninoteco and have been going since they opened. The sandwiches are awesome and the prices are pretty good. My only complaint is that the ceaser salad is disappointing (made with only romaine and waaay too much dressing - no croutons or bacon or parmesan) and their hours are not the most convenient. They should open Sunday!!

Tony and Theresa make you feel as though you are part of the family and as I remember our family meals were always awesome as they are at Paniniotecca! Tyler Meyers...give your head a shake...Tony is the best there is! My Husband is a very picky eater and he is in love with the veal sandwiches. We live in Hagersville and he often asks me to go get a sandwich for him and bring it to his work! Keep up the great work...!

Excellent food! Everything is wonderful. Great portions, you will not leave hungry. I would recommend this place to everyone. My only tiny beef is that they should have longer hours of operation. We can't get enough of the great food and service!!!

We had takeout and it wa delicious! In my experience with any restaurant, take-out is never as good as dining in...and I have to say that with how amazing their food was being take-out...dining in must taste even better!

My wife and I were first told about this great sandwich place south of Rymal on Upper James. We loved it, and went on to ordering most of the menu ( 1 visit at a time : - ) ). The Chicken Parm, Spagetthi with meat balls, Pasta Al Forno, there sauce is devine and you do not have to order garlic bread, it comes with all dinners. Great job Tony & Theresa, you always make us feel welcome.

Wonderful veal sandwiches, probably the best in Hamilton. Portions are huge and you can lug some of it home if you're on a diet or don't have a stevedore's appetite. Counter service is friendly and efficient. Great place to pop in for a quick sandwich and a Brio.

Paninoteca! Congratulations on 3 years of successfull business. Best Homemade lasagna, best veal sandwich and very warm service. Love your espresso!!!!

This place is a joke. As for the food. The veal was like leather and the sauce on my wifes pasta tasted like a tin can. I have had better pasta out of a can like Beefaroni. I think this place should be recommended to the homeless. But I'm sure even they would have a complaint or two.
