Review: I love this place for just nice, authentic chinese food. I believe it's family run.
This is a good place to just go if you're hungry, and want some decent food. Definitely not a fine-dining kind of place, almost like fast food.
I usually order the seafood garlic fried rice, the chicken corn soup, gai lan, eggplant (really good, but really greasy), and an assortment of meat dishes.
I find somedays it's hit or miss, like it'll be too salty, and you'll taste msg in your mouth, but generally speaking, i always feel pretty satisfied with their food :)
highly recommend for a quick decent meal

Review: My mother took me out to lunch during exams- and came here. Both of us liked this small family (assuming on good bases) restaurant.
Food was like any decent chinese restaurant- good but nothing note-worthy. Service was in decent speed and waitresses were friendly and compliant. The tables were clean.
Best part: prices were quite fair.

Review: Went here on 2 occasions and I keep coming back. These crispy noodles were soooo good. Excellent food and good price. Service was alright, one dish was kind of delayed but eventually got to our table with a slight nudge. Best chinese restaurant in Hamilton.... THE BEST!
- Order: Crispy noodle with beef and vegetables

Review: The food is alright, it's not horrible, but definately not worth the price. It's not really that authentic, but the service was quite fast. My fried rice was over $10!..which is pretty expensive. I'd be willing to pay that price if it really tasted good...but it was just so-so

Review: Outstanding and authentic Chinese food.
My daughters call this place "The Dragon Restaurant" because something in the kitchen roars like a dragon every 3-5 minutes. Don't get me wrong, it's not loud enough to be annoying, but it excites my daughters when the dragon roars. They love the food, and also love the unique experience of dining here.
They have a text menu, but if you are unfamiliar with authentic Chinese they have a "gwei-lo menu" for the white guys...it's all pictures of many excellent dishes, so it's very easy to know what you're going to get.
Hamilton's secret stop for truly amazing Hong Kong style Chinese food. Order any rice dish 'hong kong style'. Make sure to try the won ton soup, the won tons are all hand made in the restaurant, and have 1-2 fresh shrimps inside! Due to lack of space you may even get to see them making the won tons out in the rear of the dining area, the kids love watching this.
Don't expect fine elegant dining, but if you can't afford the plane ticket to Hong Kong, this is a bargain at twice the price.
Did I mention the food is priced very low, and LITERALLY EVERYTHING coming out of that kitchen is amazing. They will do non-menu dishes if you request and they happen to have the ingredients on hand. Next door is Dim Sum Restaurant, more expensive, same quality but much much larger space in case Only One restaurant is full (which happens).
- Order: Black Pepper Beef, Cantonese Chow Mien, Hot and Sour Soup, Chicken Fried Rice Hong Kong Style, Won Ton Soup. Does not serve alcohol.
