O'Driscoll's Restaurant

After struggling with the front door, (It must have been jammed due to the cold weather)I finally got inside. It was a little cold inside, but nice and quiet. I swear you could hear a pin drop. What great ambience!! very quiet and subdued and nothing but candles lighting the place. What a nice change. A great place for a date.

We were passing through Hamilton on our way to Toronto for the Caribana festival. Our car had broken down and while it was being repaired we deicided to go somewhere close for dinner. To our surprise, Od's was celebrating caribana that night. The owner apparently loves all things carribean...We were treated to Jerk chicken and Jamaican patties with corn bread and gravy. All prepared by the fun-loving and approachable owner. He made us feel at home and said,that to him, caribana was more fun for him than St. Patrick's day...If your ever on your way to caribana, do yourself a favour and drop in at Od's for a true island experience. Nice Friendly Ambience. Great for sports fans. Lots of Satellite TV's, some pool tables, live entertainment, including karaoke.

Our basketball team went to this restaurant on a Friday evening. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We were fortunate to have the cheerful and unassuming owner join us for a beer. Although a quiet timid man, he made sure that our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant was full of regulars sitting around the bar discussing a variety of topics in a quiet and mature manner. Although it was quite cold, the bartender was wearing shorts. Apparently that's all he ever wears. A very family oriented establishment with lots of Buffalo Bills and Montreal Canadien fans. A great spot for the sport enthusiast.
