This place was very disappointing. It was not busy, but the service was still very slow, inattentive and rude. Not even a smile.

The menu choices are expensive compared to pretty much any other breakfast place in the city. The serving sizes are small. The pancakes aren't as good as the ones from a box you can make at home. The coffee is the worst I have ever tasted. It's like they took a Tim Horton's pot of coffee and added a litre of water.

For the money you'll spend here, you can get a MUCH better breakfast and bigger serving at places like the Bedrock Bistro, the Egg & I, or Cora's. Drive a bit further and go anywhere else that serves breakfast.

My friend and I went here after reading the fairly positive reviews and were totally disappointed. The restaurant was only moderately busy and we waited about 10 minutes to be seated while the owner walked by us several times and only then put us near the bathroom when there were window seats available. The restaurant was very dirty, with flies buzzing around the unwiped tables. After waiting about 20 minutes to order we had yet another 10 minute wait for coffee and and anothe 20 minutes for the food. The pancakes are substandard and far too expensive for the quality, the toast was burnt and cold, and the grilled cheese had a hair in it and was made with processed cheese food not "cheddar" as the menu said. We weren't the only party there who was frustrated either, and the table next to us had to go up to the kitchen themselves to get their order. Poor location, depressing atmosphere and disappointing cuisine.

This place is pretty good for breakfast. Good atmosphere for both family and friends. Service is a little slow though, but pretty good food. Slightly better than a Golden Griddle.

Hands down... this is THE breakfast place. Friendly atmosphere - you feel like family. Service is so quick you'd think they were telepathic and read your mind before the server even comes to take your order! Food is consistently good, hot tasty. Bacon is not burned, toast is not burned like some places that just don't "get" breakfast. Coffee is good and plentiful too.

Great service - fast
