Been here a few times for lunch, I usually get good service and great portions of food. My latest addiction is the western omelette. Its quite tasty and the portion will fill any hungry person at lunch!
I love the ambience that the cafe has to offer, the photo art for sale on the walls always keeps me entertained and the order that they do business is quite convenient!

They make a pretty decent regular breakfast here, but I was appalled at their omelette, which came with processed cheese, not cheddar cheese as the menu said. Foolishly, I asked for extra cheese. The end result was an omelette I could not eat, with a good coffee and side of toast. Had the service been halfways accessible, I might have told them about the cheese farce, but alas, the one person taking the orders and assembling much of the food was far too busy.

My sesame bagel was the smallest I've seen yet, but even worse was the cream "cheese" they used on it. Clearly it was the lowest grade they could find, and it tasted like salty petroleum jelly. Unfortunately, and perhaps ironically, it was caked on, too. The coffee was empty and we had to wait for her to make another pot, but generally it is ready to go and tastes great. I agree with other reviewers that they need a proper server system or they need to give orders call numbers.

I love this breakfast cafe!
They have fresh smoothies, their breakfasts are fairly large considering the price and pretty good! The prices are reasonable which is one reason why I keep coming back. They have a variety of coffee flavours and even some yummy nibbles to take on the go. There are usually only one or two people there, but they are friendly and speedy. A kind, good place to eat! I have never had trouble finding a place to sit, only selecting which breakfast I like most! :) - Order: mushroom swiss omlette, orange juice (with toast, homefries)
- very yummy you should try it!!

God help you if you go there when it's busy, like say at lunch time. There is exactly one order-taker, one cook and one food-bringer. The system of ordering and receiving your food correctly and in a timely manner requires a combination of strategy, luck and extra-sensory perception.
Luck: You place your order and hope for the best. You go seat yourself at a table (see Strategy).
ESP: The order-bringer, whom you will not have previously interacted with, will bring out plates and will attempt to locate where you are sitting, remarkably using *only* the powers of ESP, and trial-and-error.
Strategy: Seat yourself near the kitchen doors. Since the system is entirely un-democratic, if you happen to order the same meal that someone else who is sitting further away but who might have ordered before you did, you will have the opportunity to intercept that meal and claim it for yourself. This is an excellent way to get food quickly, and if you're extra lucky you might even get food that was more expensive than what you originally ordered. No one will know!!
Easy way to fix the system: Write the person's first name on the order and ask for them by name. Remarkably, this has not been thunked up yet.
Other Short-comings: There is no one to clean up the left-over plates after people leave.
Good things: All-day breakfast!
- Order: eggs sunny bacon white toast hash browns
