Hutchs Restaurants

I cant understand the bad reviews..ive been going to Hutches for 30 yrs & there is NO BETTER place for fish & chips.
Hubby always gets the sportsman burger, I like the fish. gotta admit the prices could be lower, but always good food & worth the wait.

Why is this place Still Open?
Should the Health Inspector be visting places like this to shut them down. Dirty Dirty Dirty Dirty. The Food is bad, and way over priced. Will Not returne.

the burgers were dry and tasteless and the fish portion was microscopic under the generous batter coating.

missed the old house and chip trailer- was better food. I've always hated the new location on the beach strip.
The chips are to die for. That's it.

What a howl reading the sour grapes reviews about the dirty, run-down restaurant. Some of these youngsters were'nt even born when Hutch's moved to the new location where they operate now. Ya should a seen the OLD Hutch's in the little shack further down the road back in the days when the place was a REAL dive. Great food, great service, great ambiance. Keep up the good work!

Whatchoo talkin bout Hutch's? The fish n chips was terrible. The service deplorable and the decor much to be desired. I was embarrassed, humilated...disgraced!

Yuk. My husband and I used to go to Hutch's a few years ago with the kids. We always remembered the food as pretty good. My brother recently moved into the area, we took him and his girlfriend there on a really warm spring day. Yikes, what a waste of a drive and money. The hamburgers were horrible. Cardboard, overcooked, tastless, even the french fries were terrible. The fish my brother ordered was absolutely awful. We had to wait quite a while for the food, and honestly it was NOT worth the wait. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

I decided to take a walk today with my infant daughter along the Hamilton waterfront. We stopped in at Hutch's for some lunch. The only good thing about our time here was that we were out of the cold wind!!! The hamburger was way over cooked and had absolutely no flavour. I was asked if I wanted all the toppings and said yes. What were these toppings? Relish, a slice of onion and a tasteless, under-ripe tomato. Although the looked good upon first glance, the fries too were tasteless and cold. The only thing of worth in the meal was the Diet Pepsi. I throw out most of my meal and will definitly not be frequenting this establishment again.

Excellent food, but the place is kinda dirty. Usually takes forever to get your food, but Its a nice place to go to in the sumer months. They have a little ice cream place next door for dessert.

As always the food is FABulous. i think the prices are a bit HIGH..but hey..
also they could wipe the tables down once in a while,,,they always seem to be under-staffed.
