I ahve ben to Trois Rivière Quebec , the birth place of poutine. I have eaten many poutines in my life. Hardy's Poutine is the best!!

We found the service extremely slow one breakfast & when we asked the waiter when we could expect the meal all we were told was that he didn't know, he wasn't cooking it ...!! The fried eggs we ordered were absolutely swimming in grease & bacon not well cooked at all. It had to be sent back to cook further.
When we had dinner there on one occasion, I ordered the liver dinner & the onions were swimming in grease as well.
On one other occasion, I had the pork souvlaki & it was good. Service on the 2 dinner occasions was very good. - Order: breakfast:fried eggs, bacon, toast, coffee dinner: liver & onions souvlaki
