I have been to Go Tempura numerous times and have always had a great experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the small restaurant’s staff has always provided excellent service. When you enter they immediately seat you and provide you with tea. Throughout the entire meal they ensure that you have everything you need and are very friendly. There are numerous options to choose from on the menu, for a very reasonable price. Everything ordered was made fresh and came in reasonable portion sizes. I have returned numerous times to explore the menu. The fried tempura vegetables and shrimp come with an interesting sauce that really compliments the crunchy exterior. The selection of maki and sushi is relatively large, each piece it extremely tasty. The barbeque unagi (eel) rolls are a very interesting mix of flavours that really compliment each other. My absolute favourite item on the menu is there chicken fried rice. Despite the area, the building is very clean and has a very nice interior. Recently, my family and I attended the restaurant for my mom’s birthday. They brought our sushi out on wooden boats and had a very creative presentation that really added an extra touch to our family outing. I will definitely return to this restaurant to continue enjoying our favourite items, as well as trying a few new ones.

The service here is probably the best I've had at a buffet sushi place. Why? Because if you ask for extras (even things that aren't on the menu) they'll work with you or at least try.
Soba noodles weren't on the menu, but we asked for it, and we got it. Plus, they do tiny things here and there to make it so that their dishes stand out from the same dishes at other sushi places.
On top of that, they're probably one of the less expensive sushi places (for lunch) in the area.
I'd recommend going again.
One noteable thing about this establishment is that it's very tiny for a buffet place.

I Love Sushi and have been to many Sushi restaurants, but this one is my favorite. They are also the freshest and there not cheap with there tuna and salmon. The Service is great they treat you very nice and are very helpful. I have been going there once a week for a year. The restaurant is not super fancy inside but its clean and simple. If you want crappy service and pay more for less then go to Kasa Kasa.
I love Go Tempura and the price is great. - Order: Black Dragon Roll, Vegetarian Roll,White Tuna,Salmon tuna,Mango Roll.

This is the second time I've been to go Tempura and it was just as good if not better than my first.
We arrived shortly after they opened and we were greeted by a very gracious host and sat ourselves. Right away he brought us cups of tea and after a short look at the menu our server was there to take our first order. Everything was made fresh to order and in the case of our soups, the pan fried noodles and shrimp tempura it all came to our table piping hot.
Our server did make a mistake on my noodles but it was not a big deal and I tried something new. I ordered vermicelli noodles and I was served udon noodles. I've never had udon noodles before so I was able to try them and I found that I really do like them. They're a nice change from vermicelli.
This was my husband's first time in a Japanese restaurant in a very long time and he did enjoy his meal as well. Many years ago he had a bad experience after eating at a Japanese restaurant so that put him off for a long time. He was cautious though and stayed away from the sushi.
Our server was very polite and attentive, checking on us often to see if we were ready to order anything else.
My husband was quite surprised how nice it was inside as from the outside it was hard to tell. He did say that it was alot nicer than he expected when we were seated. Definitely don't judge it by its' appearance for sure!
We will definitely be back again.. maybe for dinner next time so we can try the wonderful things on the back side of the menu!
- Order: miso soup, teriyaki chicken, curry chicken udon soup, panfried teriyaki udon noodles, tempura shrimp, sushi, cali and cuke rolls

I absolutely love this restaurant! I have been here at least 30 times now, and I have never been disappointed! The servers are very nice, the lady knows our order off by heart now and is very friendly. The sushi rolls are always made fresh, wrapped tightly, and they have one of the biggest selections I have seen. The tempura shrimp and vegetable is delicious and is always very hot! The best thing about this restaurant is that you can order off the lunch menu for only $1 more than the regular lunch price! The decor is not the greatest, but the food and service makes up for it. My dinner is only around 13 bucks for all I can eat food. I love this place and recommend it to everyone I can, and have brought many friends here :)

I`m a sushi evangelist and a regular customer at Go Tempura. The All-you-can-eat price is very cheap, $11.99++ for lunch from Tuesday to Sunday (AFAIK, they are closed on Monday). If you don`t want to order the dinner menu at dinner time, you can still order the lunch menu. They will charge you $2 more than the lunch price.
The decor is quite dated but the service is always excellent. They are so polite and friendly. They won't let your glass empty.
Their portion is always right. The tempura is really tasty and fresh, I always order shrimp tempura and vegetable tempura. The sushi is really fresh and never fall apart, these guys know how to make sushi.
If you don`t like raw food, they offer many other dishes like fried rice, fried noodle, chicken teriyaki, bbq beef ribs, etc. They have 250 dishes on the menu.

I have been going to this nice restaurant for about 3 months now. (about once a week)
It is consistently the best and freshest sushi/tempura I have ever tried. All you can eat lunch price was 13 dollars and change TOTAL.
There are a LOT of options for a guest that does not like sushi. Once or twice another table's order arrived at my table but other than that The service was happy and prompt. The food VERY fresh. - Order: all you can eat lunch

I never write negative reviews on restaurants because I feel it hurts them too much, but I can't keep quiet on this one. I went to this place on saturday evening with my mom and girlfriend, it's overpriced and the quality of food is sub par... especially the soft shell crab, completely tasteless... now for the kicker, I wake up Sunday morning with the most incredible heart burn in the world. 2 hours later I vomit for a full hour. I am so sick I don't know what's going on. Then I have to get in a car and drive back to Ottawa for 6 hours. When I finally get home I go straight to bed, I then get a fever that goes up to 105 that same night. I go to the hospital and after some tests I am told I have food poisoning from eating bad fish.
Needless to say, NEVER eat here!!! It is now Tuesday and I still feel too sick to leave my house
- Order: Spring Rolls, Beef Short Rib, Green Salad, Spider Roll, Dinner Only Roll, Dynamite Roll, Tea, Chicken Yakitori, Gyoza, Ice Cream

That's really unfortunate, I've eaten there probably 10 or more times and never had this happen. Everything I've had there was fresh and delicious and I never felt sick afterwards.
It must have been a rare thing, but understandable that you would...

Went back again this time for the dinner all you can eat. I was impressed by their dinner menu.
Other sushi places don't make their food with as much care. But Go Tempura puts effort in their sushi quality and presentation. Some places have small, thinly sliced sashimi you can see through, but Go Tempura will give large generous pieces. Other places have rolls that are falling apart with extra pieces of rice sticking on the side. Each time I've gone there, Go Tempura sushi rolls are nicely made, compact, and fresh. There is always that extra something with the food they make.
They also have more sushi roll and appetizer variety then other places. Their shrimp tempura is always freshly made, hot and crispy.
Every time I go there, the servers are always super nice and courteous. You'll be happy with the price as well since it's usually a few dollars less than other all you can eat places.
- Order: Sashimi roll, tempura, scallop
