Forbidden City Chinese Restaurant

While the restaurant itself is OK, I tend to order out far more often than eat in. In my opinion, this is the only chinese food restaurant for delivery. Food arrives quickly, hot and the portions are quite large. The staff are quite willing to adjust the menu for personal taste. Undoubtedly the best spring rolls and egg rolls in the city.

I've given this place 3 chances and I don't get what the hype is all about. The food is not all that great.

I don't know why anyone would say that Forbidden City has poor service and terrible food. I for one love the establishment. The service is excellent, they can't bring the soup fast enough .When I am there the food is always hot, I repeat always hot and the staff is friendly and accomodating.

The restaurant is not usually very busy and I simply enjoy eating there.

I would reccomend it highly.

The best I have had in the city. The food was presented well, hot and great service.

this has to be one of the last places on earth that uses MSG. The food tasted substandard, cant imagine how bad it would have been without the MSG.

The food here is fantastic.The spring rolls are the best in the city.It's not very expensive yet the food is first rate.
The service is somtimes friendly,sometimes rushed for no reason! This would be a complaint but overall not bad at all.

Food is good, service is not. After an extremely long wait, (tables were almost empty on last visit) we finally were served, but it was a very long wait. Christmas time was worse! the wait that is, we waited an hour before our soup came! That aspect disappoints but the food is good.

We oredered delivery - friendly on phone, answered my questions, delivered pretty fast, food was hot, large portions and the SPRING ROLLS ARE THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD!!! Great Food!

As a successful member of the business community, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough to friends and associates. The owner Michael Ng, a success in his own right, understands the art of the business luncheon and most graciously accomodates us time and time again (best tables, prompt service, special dishes not found on the regular menu, augmented portions, etc., etc.). Ass I have previously decreed, this is the finest Chinese cuisine in the country -- nay, the continent.
The only way the experience could be improved is if there was valet parking for my Lexus SUV. (I jest, of course -there is ample parking located in the proximity of this fine establishment).

It behooves me to say that this is arguably the finest Chinese food in North America. It is superlative in every sense of the word. The service is not as outstanding as it once was, but it still bests most restaurants. Indescribably essential.
