Denningers Foods of the World

Very good German/European food selection. We have dined here several times, and always look forward to our next visit. I am impresses by how clean the premises are, and the staff are friendly. The soup is delicious, I highly recommend you try this cafe for a simple lunch or dinner.

Myself, along with 2 friends visited the Upper James location in Hamilton for a late afternoon lunch. It was a great choice!! Great food and service. Restaurant was kept near spotless. The food was delicious and it is obvious the quality this company delivers to its customers! The only complaint I have, not near enough locations! But worth the drive nevertheless! Next time I will have to make a point of taking a walk through their wonderful grocery section of the store.

Denninger's does it right! great food AND great service! Very well educated staff and wonderful food and cooking ideas! The restaurant is a wonderful treat! fresh foods ranging from sausage, to schnitzel, to salads, to stroganoff, the list is HUGE! I particularly love their chicken Cordon Bleu. If you have never tried one, then get out the door and get to Denninger's (particularily the Upper James location in Hamilton). You will love every bite

Denningers is primarily a German/European grocery store, but they have a terrific lunch counter in most if not all of their stores, and offer a great lunch for a reasonable price. This location is cafeteria style, with seating for about 50 people. Beverage selection is particularly good - lots of sodas that one rarely sees outrside a deli like this. Our lunch was very flavourful. Nice large chicken breast, nicely spicy, served on a very fresh bun. They used to have a better condiment selection, which I miss.
