Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill (Upper James)

We had no trouble finding a table during the dinner hour on a Friday evening; now we know why. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty, it took the young waitress nearly 15 minutes to come and ask us if we wanted drinks after being seated. It took her just as long to bring them to us. After reviewing the menu we decided on the T-bones. The menu promises that your steak will be thick and done to your liking. The steaks were as flat as pancakes and very dry. Our steam vegetables were mushy instead of being crunchy. When our meal finally arrived, the waitress did not furnish us with forks and knifes and we had to wait for her to come back. By the time she came back with our utensils our food was starting to get cold. One of the worst service and food that my wife and I have ever experienced.

The waitresses stayed behind the bar and talked without coming over to ask if we were okay. The food was TERRIBLE. The wings were finch wings with pretty much no meat on them. The fries were cold. The didnt refill or ask to refill our drinks for 40 minutes. The food didnt come fast at all.
Also, i know it is a bar but there was TONS of peanut shells on the ground. CLEAN IT UP ONCE IN A WHILE!
i HATED this place and will NEVER go back.

The worst service I have EVER recieved! A waitress a young girl served us and was extremely rude and took forever with our orders. When one of my guests asked for a side of salsa she went to the window and stared out for what felt like 15 minutes!!! How rude!

Had one of the worse experiences ever in a restaurant. Waited for 30 minutes before even getting our drinks never mind the appetizers. We decided to leave and was told there would be no charge due to the lengthy wait. The manager told us that if we wanted faster service to go to one of the fast food places on the street. I dont know where he thought he is working but this place is barely a step above fast food. This was quite a while ago and we have never returned nor has our family.

Good cheap food, what else can you ask for?

My chicken and pasta dish was wonderful. The buns served on the skillet were good, but not as good as Jack Astor's.

My steak was made exactly as ordered. Will go there again.

my friends and i ordered a few appetizers to share and all were good! we especially liked the buffalo chicken quesadillas!

The chicken fingers in buffalo wing sauce were delicious! The Crabby Combo cam with coconut shrimp (could actually taste the coconut!), wings (had the honey garlic on them and they were great!), mozzarella sticks (average), and chicken quesadillas (extremely tasty-would definitely order them again)! Wasn't too busy when we were there, so got lots of attention from our server.
