China Palace Restaurant & Tavern

I ABSOLUTELY love China Palace! It is an amazing chinese restaurant and it has a numerous variety of dishes. I think i will just have to try a different dish each time I visit (lol) You will not be disappointed with this place. The staff here is very friendly and they make you feel like family. Also, the service is quite fast and the quality AND quantity of the food is outstanding with a reasonable price to match. I will definately keep coming here. I personally think it is the best chinese restaurant in all of Hamilton. LOVE IT :)

Did take out for the first time, but will have to try eating in sometime. Overall very well done. Chicken balls are a nice surprise, as they are not the big doughy ones with a tiny piece of chicken in them. Actual chunks of chicken with a thin breading.

I have been a loyal customer for 14 years and counting. It is a great dining experience that I recommend. A few times when going out on a date, we dined at China Palace. It is nice, relaxing and the food is as the french say Tres Bien.

Saw the review of this retaurant on Restaurantica and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. The food was absolutely superb. Excellent speedy service. Very friendly staff. We definitely will be returning.

The entire dining experience was awesome! The restaurant was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We were greeted as though we were part of their family! The food was carefully prepared and came rather quickly to our table--we were given large portions of everything. This is the best Chinese restaurant that I have ever been to in the city and believe me I have been to a lot. I highly recommend this place and will be visiting again aoon! Wonderful experience!

Love this place, always have. I have been to other Chinese restaurants and they do not compare to China Palace. This is the Chinese restaurant that I will go to. The staff is friendly and food is great. I recommend it to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Best in town!!

We found this charming little restaurant while shopping in the little mall and had to return with our friends. The people are so friendly and welcomed us as though we were old friends. The food I would say is something to die for. We had a dinner combination set for 5 and a dinner for 3. Our entire party left filled with no room to spare. There wanton soup is one of the best that I've tasted in the area. Their Dry Garlic ribs and house rice is something you need to have. We will definetly be back.

I was a frequent patron from 1978- 2003 at the original China Palace on U. James St. in Hamilton. Spoiled by the quality and quantity of food prvided by the two sisters who ran the place, i was dissapointed when they closed shop. I tried other Chinease food establishments in the Hamilton Mountain area, but they paled in comparison to China Palace. When I received an email informing my family that they re-opened on 30 Rymal Rd under the daughter's(Lillian?) ownership, I was pleasantly suprised to lean that the family legacy of great food at fair prices will continue under this bright young womans' ownership!!
