Just wanted to say a few words in lieu of the the "not so great" responses I've been reading. I am an occasional customer at both kiosks located at Jackson Square. I've ordered food over the past 4 years, so I guess you would say a repeat customer. While the food is usually tasty, (a bit heavy on the salt though) I have found customer service to be lacking. Don't expect "service with a smile" here. Order your food, pay, and go, seems to be the motto. Service is very slow and pricing for the portions are not to scale, meaning they are far from generous and the small styrofoam container used always breaks by the time I get it to where I'm going. It's not that reasonably priced compared to other similar establishments. Regardless of the time of day, I rarely get to have what is offered on the menu because there isn't ample quantity of any one item left. I find the chicken curry very difficult to eat because of all the bones. Perhaps using boneless chicken would be a better approach. In four years, I've yet to get have a single roti anytime I've asked for one, since they never seem to have not even one around. I will say this, the fast food industry is a hard market to secure repeat customers and we as consumers don't always make it easy to maintain good public relations, but for goodness sake, if you'd like customer loyalty, be courteous and offer the public what you advertise. Nevertheless, the are only food court establishments I visit are the Iranian, Jamaican and Greek eateries. There's always room for positive change, in this case, it seems slow to arrive - but since I love my roots food, I guess I'll just hope things will change. From a fellow Caribbean sistah!

Went in on the fly, not expecting much. Got even worse than my low 'expectation'.
Don't care about service, but the food... was not to my taste.

I wanted to reply to the woman in the above post. You dropped your food and then demanded a replacement you wern't owed. Then, you demanded to use an *employees cell phone** (which you also arn't owed) to speak to the manager. Then you demanded the owners HOME PHONE number?!?! Then you called the HEALTH DEPARTMENT? Lady, get a grip! You sure do have a large sense of entitlement! Better yet, just eat at home.

I got my food from the Caribbean Pot located at James Street and my styrofoam plate split in half as I was going to the table and it went all over the floor.
I asked the girl employee for another plate since my plate broke and they stated I had to pay for another plate. When I requested a refund they said no.
I requested to speak to their Manager and they refused they said "The Manager was not available" and then I went to the Caribbean Pot at The Old Eaton Centre, because the restaurant Manager owns both restaurants and one of the female employees were on the phone with the Manager and I requested to speak with the Manager then, and she said "No because its my cell phone".
When I requested the Manager's Phone #, the female employee said "I can't give it to you because its Personal".
Then the female employee stated that the Manager Michael would call me back and he never did.Would I go back? NEVER!!!!
Would I recommend them to my friends? NEVER!!!
Would I try their food again? NO!!
Would I still like refund for the food that fell on the floor by a split in half styrofoam plate? YES definitely!!! I hope this doesn't happen to someone else, this is Very Very BAD Customer Service!!I don't go to restaurants that lie to customers.
It's not my fault the plate broke in half. It's a styrofoam plate. But I will say this much. I reported them to the health inspector after the first girl employee told me "I already gave you a plate of food." Which in essence they wanted me to eat the food off the floor.
That would be contaminated food and would be against the Ministry of Health Standards."I was a good customer and they treated me like garbage, just like the food that was on the floor!!"
- Order: Jerk Chicken: lots of spices, rice and beans, vegetables. 1 Pop How did it taste? It fell on the floor, I'll never know.

Are you the owner?
