Review: If you're looking for an authentic Italian Meal and atmosphere, this is one of the few remaining first generation Italian-Canadian restaurant left in Hamilton/Burlington. The pizza is the closest thing to homemade that I've ever had anywhere in the GTHA. If you're looking for speed, try the suburbs - there are lots of Boston Pizzas to serve you a crappy pizza with an inflated price.

Review: Iceberg salad; I'd have paid more
if other options were given. This
sandwich was on two pieces of
Italian sliced bread/not a panino
bun. The veal was not breaded &
was doused with some sort of salty
gravy that seemed more diner than
Italian. Unfortunately, the "gravy"
doused the sliced bread and I could
not pick the sandwich up. "Why sliced
bread?", I thought. Having ordered take
out, I pondered it while dividing the
wilted lettuce from the greener pieces
and playing how much of the salad I
wasn't going to eat by ear. I could only
come up with the concept of them serving
bread & butter before their meals at the
tables in the restaurant and having left
over bread (not necessarily already served..
.. but part of a loaf they were not going to
use on this night so trying to "save" a bun
by using this bread. Odd. They do have
some new looking renovations so perhaps
they are looking to save in their bread budget
to offset them. I'll try Bronzies next. - Order: Veal Sandwich which came with a salad

Review: The food was not very well done. Everything tasted extremely salty. A nearby couple found that their wine had fermented while we were there (specks found at bottom of glass and waitress didn't offer to replace the glasses). Service was okay but fairly slow, salad to start was pretty bad too.
- Order: Lasagna and can't remember the other two one was pasta other was veal i believe

Review: I was here with three other girls from work for a lunch break. They convinced me that it was a nice place. I went inside, looks nice, feels cozy, but a little dim. I ordered a salad along with two other girls and one of them ordered chefboyarde. Anyway back to my salad. I have an hour for lunch. I waited 12-15 minutes after the waitress asked us for my drink. Then the salad came about 30-35 minutes later and i literately had to wolf it down because they took sooo long. SALAD PEOPLE IT IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. It was soup not salad. Did I order soup or did I order salad? So another 1 star restaurants that I had to waste my lunch while i am starving and working hard. I would never go back.

Review: The pizza and cabonara was amazing, the lasagna was even better. We came on a busy night and things did take a little long, but we new that from the beginning. People should really understand this. With good company and a great conversation, we didn't mind. A great cosey atmosphere. I love the tin ceiling.

Review: This restaurant is the pits. The Caesar Salad is so overdone in heavy dressing that I actually scraped it off and left a large pile of dressing on the plate. My ravioli was Chef Boyardee, and it was served cold. (Nothing against the Chef, if you're camping or grabbing something quick and easy at home. But when you're paying top dollar at a restaurant...) That's after a 30 minute wait for it. The waitress came by after we had been served to ask how it was. I shrugged and nodded, and she encouraged me to tell her what was wrong. I hate to complain, and so I finally admitted that it wasn't very good and I couldn't eat it. She looked upset and then said "Well, I guess you know what not to order next time, then!" I was shocked, and she walked away and didn't return to our table for the rest of the night. I followed up by sending the restaurant an email from their website, but never heard anything back. It's the worst customer service I've seen from a restaurant in a very long time. Even McDonald's puts more effort in!

Review: Probably the worst dining experience ever had. Stated we were on a time limit when we first arrived and dining experience was over 2 hours. Drinks sat empty all night as nobody came to ask for refills. Entrees took exceptionally long and when they did come, they came staggered. First person in out party was done eating before the last person received their dish. Food tasted like prepared frozen dinners. Bill took over 20 minutes to process. Never once was there an apology or a thank you. Thanks

Review: Quite possibly the best pepperoni and mushroom pizza I've ever had. Simple, but perfect. Will definately go back. Waitress was really friendly even though we arrived just before closing.
- Order: two cap's, large pepperoni / mushroom pizza
