The Good:
- beautiful, modern looking restaurant
- menu selection
- affordable pricesThe Bad:
- our two servers
- can be loud at time, esp. the kitchen / window pass areaDetails:
We arrived for lunch for a 12:30 PM reservation and the place was about 90% full. It took a couple of minutes to get seated. It took a while to place our order, but we shared bruschetta as an appetizer once we got it. The bruschetta was excellent. I can't remember what the other colleagues had for lunch but I had the vodka penne with caesar salad. The caesar salad was average but the vodka penne was very nice. The portions for both the salad and pasta were good and well suited to the price. However, we got our lunch items at different times and had to wait until everyone got their items. I was disappointed with the attitude and comments from one of our servers (however since this is the first time, I will chalk this up to a bad day maybe because the restaurant was full).Overall, the food was very good and we all enjoyed our lunch with minor exception to the service. I didn't hear anything one way or another before going to Cafe Limoncello but I would definitely like to go back for lunch and one day try their breakfast.

Someone recommended Limoncello and I read the reviews on this site. Three quarters were very positive and one quarter negative. Well, I should have paid more attention to the negative ones. We were very disappointed with the meal. Both dishes were totally bland. My wife left half her Linguine and I left about half my spaghetti. The sauce on the Veal dish had practically no tomato taste and the veal was tough. We know several area eateries that have way better italian food.
Although the restaurant was less than 1/4 full, it was very noisy - it could do with some sound deadening material. - Order: Veal Parmigiana, Linguine Pesto

A friend recommended this place and he was right about Cafe Limoncello. Reservations where recommended so I did. The place was fantastic; the food was unbelievable and the service was great. The food came out hot and delicious. We all had desserts and there where out of this world. We will be returning and telling all our friends about this place.

We had our outdoor wedding of 80 guests catered. The food was hot and absolutely delicious! All of the guests just couldn't believe how good all of the food was. They actually cooked the food on site which is why everything was so fresh and tasty. They set up the tables in the tent and decorated beautifully making the evening so memorable. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating it was such a pleasure working with them in planning the wedding! We would highly recommend to anyone who would like to have an outdoor wedding have them cater for them.

I really like the atmosphere of this restaurant. It is clean and decorated nicely and gives you a feeling that the people working there really take care in what they do.
Unfortunately my meal made me change my mind. The soup was ok and I was happy it didn't look like something that came out of a can, though it was a little bland. The spaghetti and meatballs were pretty bad though. I'm part Italian and know good spaghetti and meatballs when I have them and this was not it.
The sauce was thin and oily and quite flavourless. If anything all I could taste was cheap olive oil. I was hoping to have fresh pasta, but this was just the store-bought dried kind you get in a bag. The meatballs were the absolute worst though. Gross even. I had to wonder how old they were. They were cold in the middle and the texture was plain bad. They seemed to be mostly mushy bread crumb filler but then had small chunks of tough grizzly meat scattered inside. They didn't taste right and the colour in the middle (black almost!) was very off-putting.
Because my meal was so dissatisfying I ordered dessert hoping it would make up for the nasty meatball experience. It did but I doubt they make the cheesecake at the restaurant. The Chocolate cheese cake was very good and they did plate it nicely.
The next morning I had quite bad cramps and was sick to my stomach. All I could taste was those horrid meatballs and I'm pretty sure that's what the cause of my pain was from.
So overall the ONLY reason I would go back is for dessert and a coffee or something. Never again for a meal.
STAY AWAY FROM THE MEATBALLS, they are BAD NEWS.
