Excellent as every - been doing takeout for 10 years - some items are even better. delivery was great and food was hot and on time.

We went for dinner for one night which they promise crab legs! They only put a couple out and not reload at all for an hour :( My friend was luckly or very unlucky to try one. Which she got sick and had tummy troubles for a week.

I wanted to try but they had none. I complained that they do not reload after promising crab legs. Which I had none. After learning that my lady friend got sick, I feel bad for her but luckly that I did not try it.

Worst part is they have flies sitting on the deserts so we skipped touch them....

Food that was hot was cold & cold food was warm. The slice eggs look like they went to mush. They hardly had any items out for a Saturday night prime time of 6pm....

If you do not want to spend 6 hours on the toilet and love your family then please stay away

Folks, I have gone to SunSun for over a decade. The previous owners kept the trays filled with delicious food. The new owners are the WORST! They are trying to economize by cutting back on food. The buffet sits empty for long periods of time, and when they do bring something (like, say battered shrimp), they bring about 4-6 pcs at a time, then everyone rushes to get them. Nope, after 10 years I'll never, ever, EVER go back there again. Huge disappoitment.

I am so disappointed.

For many years, I've come here for the best quality "Chinese" buffet in Guelph.

Chinese food, tofu items...

Now, I see soggy french fries and onion rings, battered scallops, and frozen food.

Unless I hear that the new owners improve their offerings, I won't be back..

I've been going to this place for years, whenever I visit Guelph, and it is definitely my favourite Chinese buffet anywhere.

With the new ownership, things have changed a bit, but the food is still top-notch. The new owner is very friendly and warm, too.

The hot'n'sour soup tasted a little vinegary at first, but I loved all the generous chunks of tofu in there, and I was won over. The spicy green beans were excellent, and the parsley potato was one of the best (and most unhealthy!) things I have ever tasted! How the hell do they do that.

The chop suey was nice and crunchy, as were the freshly cooked mixed vegetables, and the curry vermicelli noodles were just right. I also appreciate that they offer up steamed rice as an alternative to the fried rice.

The one downside was that there was no tofu dish on the buffet. Under the old owners, there were occasionally two different tofu dishes. An eggplant dish would be nice too.

But I'll be back! This place makes me happy!

I have been going to Sun Sun every weekend for 9 yrs. with my daughter and have always paid for an adult and a child. Jan. 21, 2012, I took her there and paid for two adults my daughter is 11, when i enquired about her age they told me adults are 10 and above which is kind of young to be considered an adult. Since the new owners have taken over the food quality has went down - our waitress long hair was down when she leaned over my table, hair should be tied back - their bathrooms were out of toilet paper and the toilets were flooded over - and at the 1st table by the counter - owners table had toys and crayons all over the table and floor. After 9 faithful years I will be taking my daughter somewhere else and will NEVER go back.

You know, Sun Suns gets a bad rap in Guelph. They are known for selling their left over dinner buffet to the drunks at 2am which gets them a bad name and reputation.

I myself was wary when I first went in. However, when I went inside, the interior of the building is a stark change from the exterior. Its a cute little restaurant, with a great atmosphere.

Every time we go, we are always greeted by a very warm and welcoming older lady who shows us to our seat, we order drinks and then are told to help ourselves.

The variety of food is some what limited if you are used to Kings Buffet, and they have 1 aisle of Chinese food, and 1 aisle of salads and deserts.

However, almost every thing they put out is delicious, I have went multiple times with multiple people and they have always been impressed by the food.

The service is great, and I have never had to worry about having an empty glass or dirty plate on the table every time I have been.

For the price, you cannot argue with the quality of this place. Its great, maybe not fine dining, but for Students or large groups of people this place is good. They have a large selection of ice cream too which always goes down a treat.

Let me begin by saying that as I type this, I have been to Sun Sun exactly FOUR times in the past month alone. I had been there a number of times over the years but I find lately they've just gotten better. I always go for the buffet lunch which now includes items that it hadn't before (including skewered chicken, breaded shrimp and parsley potatoes).

Speaking of the parsley potatoes, they are to die for!!! I find the service has improved greatly as well. There were times when I wouldn't leave a tip because I'd have to wait forever to receive the bill. Lately, I find the staff are more attentive, constantly filling the water glasses, as well as providing the bill as we have dessert.

I find the quality of the food to be outstanding. I find all of the food to be very fresh.....and for the price, you really can't go wrong. I mean, 2 buffet dinners with 2 pops comes up to under $18 after taxes. You can't beat that.

Sun Sun may not have the variety of King's Buffet, but what they do provide is top notch.....and in all honesty. It's what keeps me coming back!

Bought a combe from here, came home to find an elastic band in it! called them and asked for another meal to be delivered.... and they had the nerve to say no!!!

never will eat here again

Food was not fresh and it was obvious that it had sat on the buffet for a while. Not only that, the MSG content was so high I had a massive headache afterward.

I would rather not eat than eat there.
