I have eaten here before and it's never blown me away but the last time my friend and I visited this place it was awful. The women's restroom were disgusting, two clogged toilets and flies buzzing around, it smelled god awful. Our server was a no nothing blonde who I imagine couldn't spell her own name let alone serve a meal to someone. She got our order wrong, forgot to bring us the drinks we ordered and was an overall ditz. When the food finally came out properly, it was cold and my steak was really dried out, it was ordered medium rare and came out medium well, shoe leather. When the manager came over i mentioned my steak was horrible and he offered me a free dessert even though on the menu it says they'll buy your steak if it's not a perfect experience. I didn't care if they bought it i just wanted the steak i ordered! I hope a keg opens up around here soon, because this restaurant is over priced with horrible service, disgusting bathrooms and poor food. My advice: don't waste your money here, you'll get better service at wendy's.

After my horrible experience I wanted to come vent on here but it seems all the other posts before me beat me to it. For the price you're paying for roadhouse food you should at least get competant service to go along with it. I sat on the bar side which I think was my first mistake. My server was rude to my date and I, she took her sweet time greeting us and then rolled her eyes when my date ordered water. I ordered a beer she needn't be so moody. She took 15 minutes to deliver our drinks and when we said we were ready to order she said she'd be right back. At this point we were ready to leave when we saw the manager. We informed him(his nametag said "Steve") about the issues we were having and assumed he would do something about it. That was our second mistake. He offered us a free dessert and I laughed at him demanded my bill for the beer I hadn't even drank and left. What a pathetic excuse for a restaurant. Although there are some decent places close by don't waste your money here, it is way too pricey and the service and management is a complete joke.

I received food poisoning from this restaurant, was at home sick for a week. The kicker is the service and food were as bad as everyone appears to think it is and I got food poisoning! Just goes to show you can't paint a turd, the place looks nice but i get better service at a dive bar and i dont get food poisoning

Wait staff came back saw the chicken offered to get a new dish of the alfredo, we said no, it's fine. Then the manager was involved, and we go a free dessert out of the mishap on their part. So I guess it was okay, and these things happen, right.

I can understand what the last few reviews were all about. The service is suspect at best. It's common knowledge that this restaurant only hires based on looks. A few weeks ago a friend of mine applied for a job with her friend. Her friend was much more attractive than her and had much less experience. The "owner" spoke with the attractive girl for 20 minutes and completely blew off my friend. She was pretty upset. There's got to be a law against this. No wonder the service here is so poor. The food has been good but usually takes a very long time. I guess they figure if they put dumb blondes in short skirts you wont care about their over priced food and horrible service. Fortunately there are several grea\t restaurants close by so you don't have to waste your time or money at this complete waste of money. My suggestion to the owner is if this is the kind of place you want to operate you should just open up a strip club.

My partner and I come here quite regularly, and both of us always walk away pleased.

We find a variety of menu options even though one of us is vegetarian. Neither of us has been disappointed with a dish. The broccoli-cheddar soup, salads, and aged white cheddar burgers are particularly nice. Cocktails are generally good, although we find some (such as the white peach bellini) have too much slush (crushed ice), taking away from the overall flavour of the drink. The desserts, in particular the sticky toffee pudding, are to die for.

'The atmosphere is wonderful - impeccable design, good music, very friendly. It probably won't date well, so anticipate a renovation in a few years.

Looking through the reviews, we see a lot of people complaining about slow service. We've never had less than good service, although we usually dine off peak hours. The servers are friendly and attentive, although we suspect that they were not hired exclusively for performance-related factors.

Wow, this place is a garbage. It looks nice but the food and service is painfully horrible. I went for dinner with my wife and her sister because she said she always wanted to try this restaurant despite the bad reputation it has for slow service and poor food. I read the last review on here and the guy found plastic in his pasta! Anyways their reputation is as bad as it is for a reason. Obviously a really poorly run operation. We were served by a young lady who was obviously hired for other reasons besides her ability to serve tables. She couldnt answer our questions about the menu and laughed when we asked her if she knew what wine would be good with my honey garlic marinated steak. I know nothing about wines she said! Why would you hire someone at a nice expensive restaurant like this if they weren't going to teach you anything? Our steaks came out and were not the right temperature we told the server and she said that they were pretty close to what we ordered! she said she told a manager and that he would be right over. no one ever came to check on us in fact in the two hours we were there for dinner we only saw a manager once and he was talking to the bartender behind the bar. Obviously these people do not care about customer service and i will never be back.

From start to finish this was easily the worst experience I have ever had in nice restaurant. I have been here 4 times now and that is definitely the end of it. The first few times I ate here the quality was very poor. My steak was cooked to the wrong temperature. I asked for rare and it came out medium well! The second steak the cooked for me was the exact same thing. It says on their menu that they will pay for any steak that isn'ta great experience, well I still paid for my steak and the woman working only gave me a free dessert which i didnt even want. The second 2 times I went here were not by choice as I went with some friends. The service was horrendously slow, our orders were not right and every thing was cold! The last and final time I visited this restaurant I had a pasta and I found a chunk of plastic inside it! They bought my meal but honestly thats not enough at this point. For the cost of a meal in this place you think they would be able to do the basics correctly. I for one will never be visiting another Moxies again and I recommend no one else does either

the restraunt is warm,great friendly service, they smile and are nice people. We really enjoy the patio in the summer and would deffinatley recommend it to friends,,,,I never want to leave the washroom...check it out!!! Food...enjoy the notchos and the bar comes with Grey Goose for us Vodka drinkers. Hamburgers are good too...hey it is all good but what it so nice is that it is warm in the winter...Hope you loose the air in the summer cuz that just turns people off....too cold and forget it I'm leaving...so do us women a favour who enjoy wearing summer clothes and not freezing keep your place a great temp. and that means keep it warm...I know the servers need it cool but if you don't have customers you won't need servers and if it is too cold you won't have me...sorry for the ramble but take it to heart...thanks
