Went in to try the Home-made burgers, but was informed that the New Menu will not be effect til next Monday, I met the New Manager Lisa and she explained to me they did a survey of their Guests what they wanted and took the comments and suggestions and turned them into a NEW MENU! which will be Newer Fresher Items Can't wait!!! Things are a changing!

We were celebrating my son's 17th birthday, and based on the rave reviews on this site, we chose Jolly's because the 'homemade' burgers were highly recommended.

Both of my kids were very disappointed with what clearly had been frozen patties and seasoned with far too much salt. I spent the rest of the evening listening to them complain and apologizing to them, promising we would never take them there again. We have a new family rule: no new places for birthday celebrations! Only the tried and true from now on!

On the other hand, the lasagna and the liver & onions were very good, so my husband and I might try going again sometime, but we would probably choose the soup option instead of the salad bar.

The server was amazingly attentive, so we cannot fault the service, but please don't go to Jolly's for the burgers or the salad bar!

Took the family in this evening for a large Pizza with all the toppings you could imagine!! the crust was home-made and the toppings were fresh! I would have to say it's the Best Home-Made Pizza we have had in a long time!! and we dine out 3 times a week. the service was fast and the Restuarant is immaculate! we will definatley be back this Friday!! Boston Pizza has nothing on this place!!

It was not really the best tasting pizza. Next time I will certainly try something else. The service was quick though.

our steaks are always cooked to perfection! so tender and juicy, even better than the Keg!! every time!
the staff is extremely helpful in trying to determine my bf's complicated wine tastes by allowing us to sample different wine.

the new manager Lisa and Anthoulla are amazing, and they make you feel so welcome!

I heard that Jolly's is undergoing some changes which are definatley going to be great! they a bringing in a Bigger Breakfast Menu with Monday to Friday breakfast specials from 8-11 am, $3.79 Breakfast Special..Wow! cant wait to return and try out the newer and fresher breakfast specials!! We will definatley be back!!

Review: My Husband and I have lived near jolly's for 4 years. It was only recently (3 months ago) that we decided to give it a shot.

We were first very happy with how clean the entire restaurant was; including the women's washrooms, which can be a huge issue with some restaurants.

Secondly, the server was amazingly friendly and quick to get us our drinks and keep the free refills on pop flowing; without having to ask for a refill I would like to note, which to me is always the sign of an excellent server.

Thirdly, the food was outstanding! I had the lunch size lasagna. It was a really generous portion, and you could definitely tell that it was homemade. The garden salad I had with it was fresh and was void of any brown or slightly off lettuce ( salad bar)
(which again can be a problem at some restaurants). My husband always judges the quality of a restaurant by their burger, which is what he had. The burger was again homemade (it was thankfully not just some pre-fab patty) and very flavorful. The fries are also out of this world. They are consistently nice and crispy.

Needless to say, after our fantastic first experience, we have been back many times. We have ordered a variety of things off the menu, and each item has been delicious and prepared with care and homemade quality. The portions are always consistently big and a great value. This restaurant is truly one of Guelph's best casual, home-style restaurants.

Great BLT's for lunch, but what really makes it memorable is how they make you feel like your their family and at home! beautiful touch!

We had an exclusive table in the private room, the service was spectacular and the food even more so. As usual the wine selection was second-to-none and all my guests had a great time!! Many of them have been back since as have my husband and I. The selection of desserts for the table along with the sparklers made the evening a memorable success!!
Thank you to Jolly's for always providing quality food, wine and service. That's why we keep coming back and that's why I tell everyone about you!!

The wings and homemade soup are the best any where. I have never had soups or wings that taste so good. it is worth it to go every day just to have the soup. Excellent!!!! service was fast and friendly their undergoing some changes but It's basically been a landmark for Guelph for years, The have a new menu that's Looks freaking FANTASTIC!! CAN'T WAIT!! We will definitively be back!!!

Cutest Restaurant Ever!! I heard it was undergoing some changes with a New Menu a New Manager, but liked it just the way it was! was like walking into the past... The Restaurant was immaculate so very clean, the food was very flavorful and tasty, our server was friendly and prompt and the prices were cheaper than most! I was lucky to meet the New Manager Lisa as she took the time to show me the new Secrets that were about to happen! All I can say is WOW!! This restaurant is going to be a Huge SUCCESS! Such a Good old fashioned Restaurant with a welcoming feel of Family!! Ohh Before I forget they have Baklava which they make their!! TOO DIE FOR!!
