Well, I really feel sorry for Canadian / American people who like thick crust pizza, pre-cooked-pre-packed-canned-processed food. If you really for home made & healthy choice food, that doesn't need "health check" mark on a side of your manu - then this place is for you. Food is good, good portions and old-school - antique style. There will not be regret. Thank you Trattoria Leonardo - siete fantastici ! Elena Y.

Pasta was all grocery store sauce.. Servers didnt know the menu very well... Atmosphere was boring and dull... The server where rushing us to leave without us trying to enjoy or dinner.... bad expierence was visited in Jan 16 2008... Will not go again

the ambiance is good in this modestly priced restaurant. the service is good and not intrusive. the portions are more than adequate for a couple of seniors. the complementary bruschetta will not win any awards, but it is a nice geature and we alwys devou the lot. perhaps my only complaint would relate to the toilets. there is a long flight of stairs then the decor is not very good.

I came in expecting a horribal meal but when the food came I was wrong the food there was amazing!Highly Recommended!!

blast from the past, if you like old school, authentic trattoria service and simplicity, this is a great stop. Both wine and entrees were very inexpensive, and the service was attentive and prompt. Overall a great experience, will return again soon

Delicious. The most reliable Italian food in town and a huge neighbourhood favourite. Reasonably priced, very friendly staff and a cosy, pleasant atmosphere. If it isn't on the menu - just ask. If they have the ingredients, they'll make it for you. The best cappuccino ever ... piping hot and a full cup (not 1/3 of a cup buried under a head of froth). We are regulars and have probably had just about everything on the menu at one time or another. Leonardo's has never failed to satisfy and always provides great value and a pleasant experience.

The service and food were excellent. This was my second time there, and will be returning.

We have been to Trattoria Leonardo many many times over the years and have never had a bad meal. Have tried almost the whole menu between friends and family, and everything is delicious. The service is excellent, atmosphere relaxed and very enjoyable. This is my favourite restaurant!
