I've frequented the restaurant for YEARS now; from its original owners to now its current owner being the chef. My absolute favourite cuisine is indian.I have been all over the city (brampton - Sauga - D/t Toronto) to many so called great indian restaurants and nothing tops Queens Arms. The place has never let me or any of my accompanied guests down. Generous portion size! Fair Pricing! Great service! AMAZING FOOD!!!!!! I can honestly and fairly say that if I had to choose my last meal on earth, it would without a doubt be the Curry Chicken Special from Queens Arms!!
Offerin the best curries or vindaloos are without a doubt the best in the city!!!

If you want an establishment with a million TV's blasting at you with, don't visit this restaurant. I've been a patron for over 20 years and I'm yet to have a bad experience with the food or libations. Service is second-to-none and the ambience is cozy. The same chef has been producing delicious meals for over 25 years. If you enjoy exotic Indian food along with superior (English) beer, this is the place. Probably Toronto's best!

Surprised to find such a great little place. Friendly welcoming staff. Relaxing atmosphere. Delicious food. Promptly served, fresh and hot! Spiced beautifully. My hubby loves spicy, I wanted mild - we got exactly what we ordered. Amazing! We noticed lots of what appeared to be regular customers. So they know when they have something good going! We will be back, for sure! Can't wait to try other apetizing menu items.

We have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years, I can honestly say we have been very happy ordering the same items time after time, never feeling the need to try something new because we are always happy with our favourites! The decor has changed over the times and I don't miss the old cluttered dark look at all. Set in an older area of the Queensway, this place is clean and bright, having a very inviting, relaxing interior. All the tables were full tonight, Friday, at 7pm, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. So you wait a bit, big deal, stop rushing it was well worth it. Very comforting to see, in an age of rising costs that the owners are not skimping on the quality and portion sizes. I even had enough left over to take home a snack of currie and rice for later. We live in Mississauga, have tried many Indian restaurants out here and will drive any time, any day, to get a satisfying meal at Maharani. Keep it up, we will be back often and encourage others as well.

This place was recommended to us by 2 different people, unforunately it didn't live up to our expectations. The vegetable pakora was excellent, perfectly spiced..unfortunately thats where the good part of our meal finished. The chicken rogan josh looked and tasted like the base of the sauce was tomato ketchup with a buch of chilli powder added. The chicken dupiaza, only flavour that came through was the chilli powder again and it was so disgustingly oily. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, buy jar of Pataks paste and you could make a much tastier curry yourself, and you wouldn't have to suffer the heartburn that comes free when you eat here.
I'll NEVER be back, there was a good reason why at 8.00pm on a Saturday night we were the only 2 customers!!

The location, outside of the building and the pub leads one to believe that this is a dive; but the actual restaurant itself has a pleasant atmosphere and is clean. Over-all I found everything average. Not horrible but not mind-blowing either. Then again, it is very inexpensive to eat here, so you get what you paid for, and a little more since food portions were very generous. If I was in the mood, I would probably eat here again.

We have been coming here for years for our regular curry fix. Our favourite place for a leisurely supper and there are not too many places around where you can find a draft Smithwick's anymore. Staff know us - and we're always treated well, better than family!

Beef was tough and stringy, spices were bitter, food was lukewarm. Portions were small - not that it mattered because I didn't want to eat it anyway. This restaurant was recommended by a friend who used to eat here all the time. I think things must have really gone downhill since then - I will not be back.

I actually ordered takout, based on the quality of the food, the menu is in the garbage. Frankly, one can make better curry with a can of Pataks from the supermarket. I was VERY disappointed and will not be back... I guess I am stuck with driving to Mississauga to find decent Indian food.
- Order: Chicken curry, Beef Vindaloo and Keema curry
