food is not worth the money portions small they try using big plates to give the illusion thy are bigger. when i pay 30 dollars for a main course i would expect real mashed potatoes not instant. and they should try not nuking all the dishes.. maybe thy should hire some real chefs instead of a group of high school kids

Every restaurant does a caesar salad, but I can say this was one of the best caesars I have ever eaten. The seafood was excellent. I spent as much time eating the sauce with the good italian bread as I did eating the actual seafood. So tasty. The tiramisu was a good way to top off a nice dinner with friends. The service was good and the restaurant was very nice overall. I also found the wine list very reasonable with some really good variety.
- Order: Caesar Salad,Seafood Platter,Cappucino,Tiramisu
- Very average food, not worth the price.

I special ordered a shrimp dish. Asked for grilled rather than fried in butter and oil. Instead I got deep fried. Waiter told me that it was grilled as he asked the chef for grilled. I ate it (sort of) anyway. But I am not an idiot. I know the difference between grilled and deep fried. FOUND A MEAL WORM in my side dish. Restaurant gave me my 1 glass of wine for free and took of my main dish but offered nothing in the way of an apology i.e. this isn't up to our usual standards, have another meal on us so you can see us at our best (and I was with 7 other people - that in itself would have gone a long way and I would have gone back). So, now I tell everyone I can not to waste their hard earned cash on that place.
- Order: Grilled shrimp that came deep friend although I asked for grilled. Waiter told me it was grilled. It was not. I know the difference. I am not an idiot.

This is one of the few restaurants in the area that is open on Monday nights and it has quickly become a regular spot for us. The food never disappoints and the restuarant itself is incredibly clean and inviting with soft music in the background that actually allows you to have a conversation at a normal volume. That seems to be a rare trait in most restaurants.
The waiters may be a bit on the older side, but you can tell they are professionals who know how to do their job well. Only minor complaint is that one waiter has a thick Italian accent and understanding the specials is a little challenging sometimes.
This is one of the few places where my wife and I feel like we always get our moneys worth. If you haven't tried it yet, you owe it to yourself to do so.

On a quiet Thursday night, we've received the best service ever experienced in Toronto. They make you feel important and right at home at the same time.
Veal was very good, same for the salmon. Food would have been a 10 if it was not for the salad and appetizer. The salad was made of one of those fake looking and tasting tomatoes. The toasted bread we've got as the starter was overdone.
But, most importantly, we had GREAT time. It's the combination of cozy interior, superb service and very good food.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
- Order: Vitello al Pinocchio (MEDALLIONS OF VEAL TOPPED WITH FRESH TOMATO & MOZZARELLA CHEESE SAUTÉED IN A LIGHT MARSALA WINE SAUCE), Vitello Fantasia (MEDALLIONS OF VEAL SAUTÉED IN A GINGER & PINK PEPPERCORN WHITE WINE SAUCE), Filet of Salmon (AN 8OZ. FILET OF FRESH SALMON GRILLED TO PERFECTION & TOPPED WITH A SAUCE COMPOSED OF EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, FRESH LEMON & A VARIETY OF FRESH HERBS), Caprese Salad (SLICES OF FRESH TOMATO & BOCCONCINI CHEESE TOPPED WITH EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL & FRESH BASIL), Chianti Classico Reserva, Ice cream with strawberries

Food and service are top of the line. Only downside I would say is that the restrooms (while very clean) are a little difficult to get to (downstairs). Absolutely wouldn't stop me from going back though. Best Italian food in the area by far. Everyone at our table really enjoyed it! Absolutely try the chocolate mousse for dessert - LOVED IT

I have not been to Pinocchio in about 10 years because we moved to the East end, but my husband surprised me on my birthday. It was better than I ever remembered it. It is comfortable, the service is friendly and attentive and the food is some of the best I have had in a long, long time. It was very busy on a Saturday night, but we never felt like we were waiting for anything. It is the small things that made the night so great. There was even a live musician on a guitar that played around the restaurant. It was a great time and I really hope it doesn't take 10 years to go back. I have a feeling this is going to be a monthly trip for us. We loved it!

You wouldn't know it from looking at the outside of the building, but this could very well be the finest restaurant in Etobicoke. From the food to the service to the ambiance I really can't find a complaint.
