Il Paesano Pizzeria & Restaurant

Il Paesano is simply Il Horiblio! I have never had such bad Italian food in my life. How can you screw up pizza, pasta, chicken etc??? They sure know how to make horrible good.

The sauce for the chicken, pizza, and veal, was absolutely tasteless, and have had better microwave food than this!

Our food took almost 1hour 25 minutes, to arrive - And we live less than a 7 minute drive from the location.

Food arrives cold, bland, and totally tasteless. Cardboard, must taste better, than their pizza's! Lack of toppings.

Will never, ever eat here again!

Agreed with Marko went last year in 2008 food was aweful. IThey couldn't cook if my life depended on it, it seems they prepared there own spaghetti with one of those cheap jar pasta sauces you find at your local grocery store.
The fish was all canned and not fresh

I was looking for a nice Italian food takeout place in my area. Came across Ill Paesano online and decided to check it out, order some food.
I ordered spaghetti with mushrooms and tomato sauce and the food was simply terrible, microwave food you buy at a local grocery store tastes 10 time better. Pasta was overcooked, mushrooms were nothing special and sauce was watery and without much of a flavor.

I couldn't cook if my life depended on it, but if I opted to prepare my own spaghetti with one of those cheap jar pasta sauces you find at your local grocery store, the food would be much better than what I got from I'll Paesano.

If you are looking for a good Italian food, stay away from this place.

I know its plain and basic but some people really can`t learn to do it basic and still make it amazing

My wife and myself went to visit a friend who had just moved into South Etobicoke, and when we got hungry, he asked if I knew of a place. I love to cook, but I have a busy schedule, and my wife would burn salad, so we end up eating out a fair bit. My work has me travelling all over the GTA, so I typically know of good spots to fill what you are yearning for.
The three of us went to a restaurant I knew of in my younger days, and I was surprised to see that it had only changed for the better. I may be my memory playing tricks on me, but their pizza has gotten better than I remembered it. Very authentic feel to the place and the food is incredible. You just can't go back to that franchise crap after eating here (and a few other places I know of).
The Staff, the food, the whole experience is authentic, delicious & a good bargain for the quality you get!

The best pizza Etobicoke has to offer. Romi's is a close second.
