My fiance and I always come here when we want sushi. I lived in Toronto for many years, and have been to many sushi restaurants, and this is the best one I've ever been to. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. Our favorite place! Staff and sushi chef are accomodating and friendly! I would recommend to anyone! The sashimi is my favorite... incredibly fresh!
- Order: Saki, edaname, sushi, sashimi, a few different types of rolls... all amazing!

mimi's (now matsu sushi) is my second favourite sushi restaurant in the world, and the first in canada. the food is fantastic, simon-san is an amazing sushi chef and the staff are all very friendly and quick. my food was excellent, and simon catered to my dietary needs eagerly. all the staff are very personable, and greet you loudly when you come in. they will talk to you about anything, and make eating at matsu a true japanese experience.

I've eaten here three times. The last two times the food made me ill very soon after. (though the food tasted very good). The server was pushy and the chef, abrasive.
