East Side Marios has a seniors' menu. For instance, my friend and I was about to order the roasted chicken with the NOT all-you-can-eat salad, which comes with a beverage and a small dish of ice cream. They use to serve this with your choice of potato, but was told this evening that you now get the chicken without potato, or any vegetable. Just a lonely piece of chicken with nothing else! Who ever heard of ordering a meal without, at least, a few French fries. When I asked why, I was told by the manager that it was because East Side Marios owners felt that seniors can't eat that much! But nothing! So we ordered off the regular menu, which was only a $1.00 more and got all-you-can-eat salad. Even the staff told us that many are complaining about the change to the seniors' menu. Couldn't they throw us seniors a few French fries with our dinner, even if they have to count them out! I have never heard of anything so ridiculous in a long time!

It was crummy. I had looked forward to going there so much and then the pizza was soggy and almost bitter, the alfredo was watery, the salad was blah, and even the cola was flat!
I was so disappointed! I felt sorry for the serving staff.

Hello, I order Cheese capelleti for takeout and it was horrible. It was hard with barely any cheese or sauce. I got a ceaser instead of a garden salad it alot of it was brown. I am very disappointed and will never order takeout again.

I don't get it!! Came to check it out because of good reviews and had the usual east side experience. Service may have been friendly but slow. And the food! well I have yet to have a decent fettucinni alfredo at any east side, maybe should stop trying. It was dry and pretty much tastless. The appetizers were good. The other dishes were pretty much average as well.

I live on the Mountain in Hamilton. Really close to east sides on upper James, but the problem with that place, Is on a Fri night its wait time is always 30 to 45 min. so we decided to try this place. well were so impressed with the 5 min wait time, the service ,the food (Great Steak) And the mushroom skillet is a must. If you can't wait for the keg or afford it for that matter. Go here its worth the money by far.

We've been here a few times but took guests on this occasion. Food was great although one of our party had the lasagne and said they'd overdone the tomato flavour. Kids are well looked after and the servers certainly know their stuff. However, be prepared to wait if you go when it's really busy - it's not too much of a chore though because the bar has a nice atmosphere and there's always those free nuts!
