Collins Brewhouse

Having spent my life in Dundas , I have visited this establishment hundreds on times thru different customers.
Current atmosphere/decor is the best it's been.
The food is only slightly above average.
Whats expected for a Pub/resturant.
The only really issue I have is the service. It wasn't bad , it was horrible. We waited easily 15-20 min at the bar money in hand while the staff sat stood around yakking with each other .Even after looking at us sitting there. When we finally did get service , the attitude was one of contempt that we were hasseling them by being there. Overall the staff acted as unfriendly and indifferent to customer service.
In reality it's a young staff with not enough maturity to know and appreciate customer service.
It's not hard to figure out: friendly welcoming attitude and good service = repeat customers !!!

The Spinach dip is awsome! The fries are nicely seasoned and the wrap was good. The Quesidillas are awesome. Must be a fan of bacon tho if you order the bacon Ques. The Chicken Ques I've had before and its by far the best i've ever had.

I have been here a number of times. The food is very good with good size portions. During our lunch there we had too much food and ended up taking it home. I will say as others have, that the service is inconsistant. We have had very quick service but have also had very long waits as well. I tend to agree that the televisions could be turned down as it is very distracting and difficult to carry on a conversatation. The food makes it worthwhile for a return visit though.

Been to The Collins many times and I'm sure I'll be back many more. I just really wish that the service was, as some people have desciribed it, i.e. inconsistent. I have found it to be consistently bad. I think that every other time we eat there, we get a free beer because they forget us, are slow to bring food/drink, or are just generally bad. However, they have some good and some great food!

This place is great for party's in the downstairs...I had my 13th birthday party here and it was awesome. After i had my party a few of my other friends decided to have their party here. The space is great as well as the food!! :)

This is a good place to hang with friends

This is a bar that serves surprisingly good food. I suppose it has to be good, as the place is so loud there is little chance you can hold a conversation. Multiple TV's all at once, games, and a huge bar preclude small-talk. Its where you take someone you just want to get to bed, and not talk to, I guess. Not what you would call cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Always a fun place to go, but service and food quality are often inconsistent. Still, nice atmosphere and great patio ...

Excellent Restaurant!! Great Food. But whats with this webpage!! No pics of the place, banner ads along the one side. For susch a classy restaurant you would think you would see a better page.
