The Old Mill House

The group of us went there because we were given coupons. The owner refused to honor them because the restaurant had changed hands. One of us ordered extra mayo on the clubhouse and they charged extra for it! I had to ask for new utencils because the ones given to me had food encrusted on them. The service was extremely slow. All in all it was an experience none of us wish to re-experience.

The service was friendly and it seemed to be the place for the locals. Nice homey feeling. The steak sandwich could use some dressing up with roasted red peppers added to the meat mixture and garlic butter toasted on the bun. Adds alot of flavour. Also carrots and celery on the side with dip and less fries would have been nice. Clubhouse was good, on brown, but toast was very dry. Had to put your own miracle whip on. Not asked by server if wanted mayo or not. Fries were very good. We did, however, expect a more authentic mill look to the place ergo the name. Overall, food was ok but not outstanding and please, loose the basket presentation. Plate the food, and be sure to include coleslaw with your fish dinners.

We were up in Creemore because I wanted to tour the Creemore Springs Brewery and it's right next door so we went for a bite after touring around the area which is very pretty.. The Wings were awsome.. Really Friendly atmosphere, Our Server was really excellent, and the owner ever came over to make sure everything was good... you don't see that too much anymore.. I understand he just took over the place a few months ago and seem to be doing a good job..

A lot of locals were there and it was really busy but such a great friendly small town place..... I'll be going back the next time I'm in the area for sure..

THE MILL HOUSE HAS EXTREMELY POSSITIVE AND FUN ENERGY. THE STAFF WERE WARM AND THE OWNER WAS AN EXCELLENT HOST. WE MET NEW PEOPLE, HAD SOME LAUGHS AND LEFT FEELING VERY SATIFIED WITH THE FOOD, SERVICE AND OVERALL EVENING. MY HUSBAND AND I WILL MOST CERTAINLY BE GOING BACK FOR ANOTHER VISIT.

i had the very soggy, under cooked quasadilla and the cheese hadn't ever melted, the green pepper dominated with the rather large chunks, and the onions tasted like they had been sitting out all day.

my husband had the philly cheesesteak, cheese not melted, served cold, and the beef was so dry, and tasteless it has hard to swallow, the fries were hot and the Creemore Beer was cold, the only redeeming factor of this whole meal. the service was ok, but seeing as we were the only two people in the place you would think that the food would be at least hot, and well, it's too bad, we just moved to the area, and were hoping to have a good pub close by, serving,good pub food, but it was actually less then adequite.

The food here was fairly good. Ribs were especially tasty and tender. The menu is you average Canadian style pub fare. Service was lousy however it was quite busy that night with many people drinking only. It took forever to get 2nd drinks and we had to go up to the bar to get extra serviettes.
