Sovereign Restaurant

I'm going by what my Austrian liebchen says about this place. I've never been here before but I am visiting tonight.

I see from some previous posts that they screen who gets in! I hope they don't mind me being a gypsy schwartzer!

Food was awesome, service was awesome. Quite honestly one of the best meals I have eaten and the price was really reasonable. Absolutely the best value for the money I have had in a long time in a restaurant.

I have visited this restaurant on quite a few occasions, and have never been dissapointed yet.

Discovered this place via this web-site. Tried it out on way home from Blue. Great place ! Good food. Schnitzel piping hot, crispy coating, good job. Service quick but not hustled; place was little over half full. Good atmosphere - not noisy or loud. Would surely return and bring other people. Meals plus wine less than $60.00. Entree and wine prices are not expensive. Hit the spot after a day on the slopes.

The service and the food was excellent. We can't wait to return. Wished they had a 'on-line' menu or website so we could rave to our friends. Live entertainment in the back un-used seating area would be great too.

Not sure what is with other report, we had an amazing dinner in the restaurant just a few days later. Yes the schnitzel is thin, as it should be, but the flavour is outstanding. The cabbage rolls are the best I have ever had. We have been to Germany and Austria and still the schnitzel in Creemore is better. Go figure.
And the atmosphere in the Sovereign is great. It is housed in an old Hotel in Creemore very nice decor and very clean surroundings.

absolutely no meat in the schnitzel, everything else was so bland it was painfull...would not reccomend and will not return.

Did not even get a chance to order, as we were looked up and down and apparantly we were not deemed undesirable by the owner and told he was full-as we could clearly see only 3 tables occupied we knew this to be untrue. Extremely unpleasant experience as this place was recommended by a staff member at another location in Creemore. We were in no way dressed inappropriately for this restaurant. Will never go back!!!

This has been my family's "go to" place since I was a little kid. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, the service is friendly and unpretentious and the food is casual and very very tasty! Without doubt the Sovereign has the best cabbage rolls and weiner schnitzel I've ever had! A great place for a special occassion or just a nice relaxing night out with family. Keep up the good work Bill!

Like previous people the food, the atmosphere, and the service are outstanding in this restaurant. Will definitely recommend it to friends when they are in the village. Had a very enjoyable evening. Thanks to our server and Bill the owner. We will let other know, very good value and first class quality.
