William Street Cafe

Have come here many a time, and i must say they have improved the menu choices and quality immensely. And the staff seem to be smiling more at customers too. Seems like competition from down the road is improving service to Chatham coffee drinkers. Yeah!

I went with two of my good friends for coffee on a friday night, the atmosphere was great and so was the coffe.

Not only is the food top notch, and always fresh the atmosphere is a classic cafe. One you would expect to see in a painting. This is where I met and married my wife. I suggest everyone who wants a night out with a partner or friend to make this one of your spots. They are open til midnight /Friday and Saturday which is great before heading out for the night life, and they are open until 10 through the week. This could be the best spot in Chatham for many years to come!

This place has the potential to be a 9 or 10 but something seems to be missing. A lot of us are cranky in the a.m.and it's a bugger having to open up a coffee shop very early, but, please, let's see some enthusiasm and smiles once in a while people of the WSC!I hear that's the biggest complaint from many patrons.
They could also use a middle of the road house blend coffee more often; the three daily coffee choices you get are usually on the exotic side (a bit pricey too).

I really the atmosphere!!! I don't love the dirty dishes/cups OR the very dirty/mouldy cooler area where they display the salads and such! The staff also handled money and then, without washing hands, made the food.

I loved the food, I cannot however in good conscience eat it any longer.

The tables are often wobbly as well.

Two rooms, first has counter, booths. Second has couches, chairs, smaller tables. Never eaten the food, but it's more of a coffee house atmosphere. Counter service. Variety of coffee's, lattes, tea's, desserts, and light luncheon fair.

I LOVE EVERYONE THAT WORKS THERE, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! NO MATTER WHAT. ANYONE THAT HAS A PROBLEM CAN TALK TO ME ! AND THE BOSS SHE IS AMAZING!

The wraps are excellent. I've been here a few times. The only reason the food is a 9 is because my friend had a wrap that wouldn't stop dripping. It was a big mess, but she says it was yummy. I love how they bring the food out to your table for you and I love the artwork. There was a lady painting a door while we were there. How amazing. I thought it was a nice touch to have a chess/checkers board in the resturant. I like to eat lunch here then walk to the movies or the mall. What a great afternoon.

Best place for a cafe lunch! The service is always class act. I hosted my sister's baby shower here in September and Sue was a pleasure to deal with. She had everything done perfectly. I try to go there as often as possible for lunch because it is excellent. The pasta salad mixed with veggies is light and filling. I recommend this place to anyone who will listen!!!

I like the atmosphere but i hate going to this place. Although the young staff is reasonably friendly an older woman that is always there always looks miserable and so mean. I thought the point of being in the service industry is good service, like smiling at customers instead of scowling at them. The place looks nice but I never feel comfortable there because of this staff.

The coffee I had was terrible. I took one sip and could not drink the rest. It had way too much hazelnut flavour that made me choke. But we were all too scared of the mean lady to complain.
