Mikes Place

Definitely a great panzerotti!! Portion sizes are huge and so are the drinks! If your looking for good ribs - Mike's is not really the "place" for that! If you are in the mood for pizza or panzerotti's - you won't be disappointed. They also have really fast pick up menu and always pretty hot. Atmosphere is pretty good too - a bit dark but it is a bar. Will go back again for sure.

I disagree with the last writer. Their panzerottis are tops in C-K. If you had a bad one I am sure staff would have corrected it or refunded your moulah.
The owners actually cook and take pride in the product.
Has anyone tried their all-you-can-eat -perch nite? Let us know.

Most of us ordered the panzaroti. Ewww! They used to have the best in town! Sorry man but it's really gross now. The service and atmosphere are still good just don't expect a good meal :(

I have eaten at Mike's Place at least twice a month for the last 3 years since I moved to Chatham, and I have never left there disappointed! The only issue I have is they have too many awesome choices on their menu, so it might take you a while to make up your mind ;) Especially once you try everything on the menu, it makes your choice very difficult....Check it out, you will never be disappointed!

Also they make the best Caeser ever, right amount of spices, and pickle juice....WOW!!!!!

Staff are always great, atmosphere is friendly and personal!

Wonderful meal! This has become our favourite destination when dining out. Ponzerotti's are the best we've ever had! I completely disagree with the comment below about the sauce being bland. The reason we love the ponzerotti's here so much is because of the wonderful sauce -- which is far better than any meat sauce I've had. Changing the sauce to include meat would be a complete disaster. Also, it's a good option for vegetarians who still like to enjoy a ponzerotti.

Excellent meal! Everything tasted so good! The ponzerotti was wonderful and perfectly cooked. Absolutely the only place in town to go if you want a perfect ponzerotti. Everything else was perfect too - both the food and the service. Also, a good place to bring your kids - my 3 year old daughter loves the toy chest and it has great toys in it to choose from, not just cheap junk like most places.

The greek salad was the worst I have ever seen anywhere and they give raspberry dressing with iceburg lettuce. I went to the washroom and got a look at the kitchen. Very dirty and the washrooms are horrid. I am telling all friends and family not to go there.Not to mention when leaving people were getting high outside!!!

Had one of my best ever tastin' pizzas here the other night. All dressed, lots of cheese (no extra charge..crust was great, lots of toppings.
I don't like giving "10s" out so freely, but these guys have the neighbourhood pub atmosphere down right. Staff is friendly and helpful, the owners work there and sit in the crowd when they aren't and Brent the Bartender makes you feel welcome. There's always plenty of selection off the menu (yes the panzerotti is great but deep fried), they have special hot and different sauce extras for for pizzas and bar grub items, and the servings are generous.
We like to go there at least once every three weeks. One of south Chatham's better pub and grub spots.

Panzerotti itself was very good, ingredients are very good, however the sauce is a major downfall, it is bland, a meat sauce would make it the best panzerotti in town by a mile

The food is so good we travel from Sarnia every Saturday night to eat at Mike's Place. The food and service are always above expectations.
