Glitters Fun Eatery

Definitely a favorite for the gang at work! Always quick service and the meals are very consistent. Hot meals are hot and cold meals are cold. Favorite meal is the Chicken Milanese - luncheon size. Great spicy Caesars (served with a dill pickle - the way it should be!!). Excellent appetizer menu. Clean dining area and courteous staff.

All that glitters is not gold! Ok, that's a cheesy start, but at least i am using REAL cheese! Glitters, i strongly suspect, does not.
Their food is very middle of the road, so it's a good place to go if you just want basic comfort food. the furniture and set up is pretty bland too. The staff are friendly and the prices are average too.
So, with all this averageness spewing out from this review, what one good thing can i say about Glitters?
THEY HAVE THE BEST NACHO PLATTER in town!!!!
Generous portions of meat, sauce and tons of items poured on! There is enough for two hungry people for a good feed. I recommend those!

This is one of my fave places to eat in Chatham. The prices are great and the waitresses are friendly, for the most part.
There are a few complaints though.
They seem to have trouble keeping meals consistent coming from the kitchen, if its a wrap you're getting, than chances are its going to drip down your hands are you're trying to eat it. It is hit and miss on whether or not your fries will be warm.
The other big issue is their cheese. Someone earlier said that its REAL cheese that they use. It may be real, but poor quality. Within 5 minutes, they cheese has become a waxy mess, whether on a burger or fries, and I don't know about anyone else, but that never happens to me at home using Black Diamond/Kraft.
Despite these things, we will keep going back as we love the food, and accept the shortcommings!

Glitters is my favourite Chatham restaurant. The food is always good, the service is decent and the prices are great. The place could be a little cleaner, but it's not too bad. I don't know what I'll do if they ever take chicken milanese off the menu; I love it.

Today was the last day of their 25th anniversary special where a bunch of menu items were priced according to 1983. My wife and I each got a huge hamburger and fries for under $7 ( I had to get the bacon and cheese) Only had 1/2 hour for lunch and we were in and out within 25 minutes....Love that place!

So to the person who said Glitter's has canned gravy, I don''t think you really know what your talking about, Glitter's is celebrating their 25th anniversary and they have yet to ever serve gravy or put it on the menu.. And yes the cheese does get stringy when it is cold but that is because it is real cheese not the fake nacho cheese...Most people like the fact that they have real cheese it means they dont just use process crap in their food and for those of you who are complaining about the prices please tell me where else in CHatham a family of four can go out to eat and get appitizers dinner and dessert and drinks for under $60.00..
Glitters is one of the only non-chain places to eat in Chatham and yes some things like the bathrooms could be updated but it is a clean friendly place and you should appreciate it because someday it may not be there

I have read some negative feedback on this site in regards to Glitter's and I have to say that I have never in almost 25 years (since high school) had bad service or a bad meal. It is by far the safest place to eat in this community as there is no such thing as a bad meal there. No matter what you order, it's always good. Gino has had a consistently great business for a very long time! My family and I have had all our showers and anniversary/birthday parties there and have been treated like gold each and every time!! You'll never have an negative feedback from me!!!

Very generous, great place to eat, especially the 25 anniversary very generous of Gino to go all out for his customers (fantastic idea bringing back the famous pizza rolls) ps. Glitters does not serve Gravy.

I have to say, on a night that wasn't busy it took nearly 30-45 minutes to bring a cup of water to the table. First we were told they were changing the pop and all this so thats why it was taking long. The water however, shouldn't have been difficult to serve.. and I recieved it after the pop! The porogees were good, although the waitress spilt the oil all over them rather then keeping it in the container.. I wasn't impressed considering I did not want that. I've been plenty of times but everytime I am disatisfied.

I went to Glitters for a friends birthday party and first thing I noticed was the horrible service. It took forever to receive anything we requested and at times we even had to ask for a second or a third time for what we needed. Personally my hamburger was burnt even though it says on the menu that they cook it to a medium unless otherwise requested, also it took forever for the food to even arrive. I have also heard stories of hair and even bugs being in the food. The washrooms were pretty filthy and walking to the car in the parking lot I felt very unsafe and we were even approached by a group of drunk people.

I would not go back.
