Tandoori Corner Restaurant

Review: Papadums were tough and chewy--they're supposed to be very crispy.
Naan was…ok…nothing to write home about.
Butter chicken was extremely spicy, considering it's not supposed to be very spicy at all. Definitely not the place to go in town for a good butter chicken
Curry was full of bone splinters and was not flavourful.
The chana masala sauce was very thin and runny; did not compliment the (very hard) chickpeas well.

Even considering that we were all very hungry, $60 for three meals isn't very impressive. I've had better Indian cuisine for $12.00 per person, and we all left feeling full.

Decor inside the restaurant made me want to just turn around and walk out. It's like a seedy fish and chips place, only dark and dirtier.

Review: This was just Ok- wasn't really sure what kind of beef it was- minced something. Just a bit of iceberg- yuk- lettuce in the wrap and smothered with mayo- why not a nice yogurt sauce. Wouldn't order this again- might go for a dinner just to try once more before I completely rule out this place. Kinda dirty looking and some fixtures were broken.

Review: A new favourite for our family. The beef curry was excellent. I appreciate the lean meat used in all of the dishes that I had. I would highly recommend!

Review: We love this place. The staff is friendly and courteous, the atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and the food is positively sublime. We have been to many Indian restaurants in different parts of the world and this is one of the best.

Review: I ended up in Tandoori Corner by mistake. That place use to be JOE'S FISH AND CHIPS. But as soon as we entered in TC, it looked like an some Asian resturant. Then a wise gentleman approached and greeted us. Not knowing much about the place, we asked what kind of resturant is this. He replied Indian resturant. My wife and I looked at each other and decided to leave. But then he kindly asked us to try the food, but we were not interested in dining over there. He said you have come so far, u have to try something, and he promised us that he will not charge us anything. On his request we said "sure why not". On a plate he placed some chicken biryani, and I said to myself "here goes nothing",and took a small byte.
I swear my taste buds have not experienced anything like it, my wife felt the same. It was amazing. We ended up dining over there, and have made a commitment to go there at least once a week.

Prices very reasonble also, lunch Buffet 7.99 and dinner buffet 9.99, with a wide selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarion options.

Review: Excellent food! This was our first time having "authentic" Indian food (Mongolian Grill doesn't count!), and it was fantastic. I wanted to try a little variety from the buffet, and ended up having a LOT of everything! The curried beef was especially good, as was the Tandoori chicken. We will definitely make this one of our new lunch stops. The host was very helpful and everything seemed to be very clean as well.
