Silver China Restaurant & Tavern

Just moved to the area and needed a new Chinese restaurant to go to. Silver China seems to be a good choice. The price is normal for this style of food and it's well made. I've had some terrible Chinese before so I'm glad this place actually turned out nice.

Chicken balls are actually made in house like someone else mentioned which is a first for me. You're usually given the same old chicken balls everyone seems to order from the same supplier.

On the weekends they're always busy so expect a bit of wait if you're ordering out. They told me 15 minutes one night, went there and ended up waiting another 25 minutes. Also one of the people working there had no idea what they were doing. Probably a new employee though. Have yet to eat in so can't comment on their service.

This is the best chinese food restaurant in Cambridge, I have been going for about 20 years now, since moving here from Toronto

They made me wait 2 hours for my food and the owner did not come out to tell me sorry, he hided in the back. The young white lady at the cashier was extremely rude, was not helpful at all, my order was mixed up with 5 other people. In the end after arguing, the cahsier going back and forth in the kitchen negotiating my problem with the " hiding owner" they claimed that all they can do is take $1 off my bill for me waiting 2 hours, and i am a very kind customer. DO NOT GO HERE!

We've tried all of the Chinese food places in Cambridge and we always return to Silver China -- the food and service cannot be beat!

Excellent food! In the over 15 years we've ordered or dined in at Silver China, we've never been disappointed.

I very enjoy the vist to silver china. the food was so great, the disdes are big, love the combination dish, spring roll and chicken wings are the best. the ower's wife is so nice and kind. I look forward to go again.

Great food. I especially appreciate that the chicken balls and breaded shrimp are made from scratch. None of the doughy things here. The food is not greasy and the lemon sauce is just right.
