don't listen to these morons everyone at the fiddle is awesome and the food is great, shouldn't take too long to get your food unless its friday night and its packed, but then of course what do you expect.

Excellent meal, great selection of foods on the special board love the curry dishes and the Firkin Butlers beer is also worth coming back for. Best pub in town for sure.

We had ordered a cheese loaf to start and the bottom of it was completely black from being burnt. The food toke way too long to get to the table [45min-1hr]. The plate looked like it had been reused and not washed at all. Although from all these issues; I have to rave about the service was absolutely wonderful! By a young lady named Nadia, who I will never forget. What had turned us off from our experience at The Fiddle and the Firkin was what has been coming out the back kitchen from the food to the other employees who hide in the back room/kitchen. There was a extremely rude/ verbally abusive cook who had pulled the server into the back while we were paying our bill at the debt machine. I couldn't believe the carelessness of other employee. This young server who had done everything she could to serve everyone in the restaurant that was so professional, kind, and considering to others. Who had done nothing wrong in my eyes;verbally was being verbally assaulted [by screaming and yelling] from one of the cooks. I was absolutely decussated with the respect and the profanity used from the employee, especially since it was well heard towards the public. From this I will not advice anyone to waste the time, money, or consideration of coming to this restaurant/pub and will not allow my family to be in that environment, especially my own children. This has opened my eyes towards others who work in awful conditions in the workplace.

Great food.

I eat here fairly regularly. The service is good and there is a full selection of beers.
If you like Pub food then the menu selection is excellent, but I usually order from the specials board. The curries are excellent, best around here, but a word of warning, the customers like their curries hot and spicy, so ask how hot they are first. They used to do an excellent curry platter for two with many selections, sadly no longer offered.
My favourite food here is the Thai Beef Wrap which comes with a salad and is nice and filling, and usually wash it down with an imported pint or two. Everything is good here, even if you just want some finger food to keep you thirsty!
Great value and selection.

I had a great time. the people were friendly, the chef came out said hello. ( I think his name was V ) The waitress was Gill, and the funnest person I ever met. Made me feel like I was at home with family. They had the team Canada vs. Russia game on. I will be back this weekend.

i love this place, a great place to hang out with a small group or a large party, has amazing food, people are great, great location...just a great pub!
