  • This was my first visit and I think my last. Food was okay- they didn't give you lots and it was quite pricey for what you got. Fruit wasnt very fresh.

There are lots of better breakfast places out there!

  • I love the food here! I have been multiple times and have never been disappointed. I have tried a variety of the dishes and they are all wonderful. The eggs are always cooked perfectly, the portion size is great and the fruits and vegetables are all fresh. The service is quick and friendly. It is worth the wait for a great breakfast.

  • Order: Eggs benedict, coffee, smoothie, waffles, fresh fruit.

  • I have been to this particular Cora's location quite a few times now. If you go on the weekend there always appears to be a long lineup. Unless you are in a group greater than 6 it usually takes less than 15 minutes to be seated. The servers are all very friendly and helpful.

My personal favourite is the eggs benedict, with the crepe omlettes a close second. This is not a place to go for a traditional greasy breakfast (bacon, eggs, fried homefries, etc.) Most menu items come with fresh fruit.

Even when busy, the food comes fairly quickly. My only complaint would be that I would prefer if the coffee was stronger tasting.

  • Order: eggs benedict(asparagus & swiss), crepeomlette (spinach), and april 89

  • Cora's isn't getting better.... This was our third and last trip there. I ordered a breakfast that consisted of flavourless bacon because it had been cooked in an oven rather than seared in a pan; flavourless home fries because they were made from Yukon gold potatoes (an evil sweet fleshed spud that should never have been developed); and flavourless eggs that tasted like they had been poached in corn oil, rather than fried. There was also toast, and coffee which were fine, but the cantaloupe slice garnishing the side of the plate was so green I may have bent the knife trying to cut it.
However, worst of all were the 5 inch across, 1/4 inch thick 'crepes' that tasted like white glue. We told the waiter they were inedible and he explained that they were crepes and perhaps we should have ordered the pancakes.
Even though I didn't feel it was my job to educate our waiter regarding what a crepe is, I did. I told him they were eggy and so thin you can see light through them and that the edges are a little crispy, and that they are rolled, not served like silver dollar pancakes.
Without our asking, he did remove $2.00 from each of our meals, but that doesn't really make up for what has been a plummeting standard for cuisine at this restaurant.
I suspect what you order makes a huge difference in your experience because as always, there was a line-up at the door when we left, so some people like this place. Unfortunately Cambridge has NO good breakfast restaurants - I know, we have tried them all...

  • Will never go again...very bad experience...they didn't have the soup I ordered, and brought cold soup for my daughter..cold eggs for my other kids, limp fruit, service was subpar
The food on the website looked so inviting so I really expected better. Was VERY disappointed. When I asked for a reduction on my bill for the $2 soup, the waitress had to bring the manager out and even she wasn't going to do it so easily. I mean, c'mon, between me and my children, I spent over $50 and you can't even absorb the cost of a $2 soup???
The waitress was rude, and made snickering comments as we were leaving to the other waitresses who were giving us dirty looks.
The table was sticky, and the windows were dirty; the atmosphere was juvenile.
Will never return; gave me a bad impression, and to think they are opening up a brand new one in Kitchener...can't see it lasting if they all run like that one.

  • Order: pancake, eggs & fruit, fruit cup, 2 different kinds of soup, etc

  • Visited this place for the first time on June 8/08. There was a line up waiting to the door, so we knew it would be good. We were seated quickly and our server came with coffee right away. We took our time looking over the menu before deciding. The eggs benedict was a good portion, but it was also served with 7 different fresh fruits, displayed beautifully, and perfect ripeness..
The raspberry crepe was huge, it covered one side of the plate to the other. They also bring a plate to the table with 5 different jams/jelly/marmalade and peanut butter. Most places only offer Strawberry, which is not our choice. We will definately be back for brunch....Also, considering the place was packed, we were in and out in 45 minutes....There is no shortage of staff and they were very pleasant.

  • This is a franchise based in Quebec. It has a phenomenal and unique menu that boasts European influenced breakfast fare involving crepes, tons of fresh fruit, waffles, and many other goodies. This is not your regular bacon & egg joint. Staff are attentive and friendly, most selections average $10. This is a large place thats usually 2/3+ full. Everyone I know loves it and visit frequently. Limited lunch menu, closes at 3pm every day I think.
