Ali's Bar & Grill

This little "Restaurant" is the only one on the West Side of Galt and I think that is the only reason why you will see people in Ali's. The service is beyond poor (the servers are much like something out of "Mel's Diner"), the owners could care less about their customers and yes the wings are good but not worth the experience. When is the clientel going to wake up and realize that they deserve better than this kind of treatment and stop paying for bad service and lack of respect.

A great atmosphere for a neighbourhood bar and grill. The owners are freindly the food is always very good. Can be a very busy spot on Wednesday and Friday nights as it is wing night and they have the best wings around. Remeber this is a bar and grill and not some fancy smancy eatery. Friendly people and lots of tv's to watch you favourite sports on but during winter months Leaf fans come from all over, "go Leafs go" .

Wings are by far THE BEST IN TOWN and it shows on Wed. and Fri. Wing nites, when it's difficult to even get through the front door. The rest of the menu is quite tasty also. Beverages are always cold. Wait staff is pleasant and the service great.....

Food was awful and the servers only are pleasant and polite to the" Regulars". Also the best wings in Cambridge, by the way, is at Juniors Bar and Grill.

The food is good, the service, not so much. They have great wings (even I like them and I'm picky about my wings), their food is average (tasty bar/restaurant fare) but the service is so appalling. I've been there three times (i live down the street). The waitresses are rude, unhelpful, S L O W...

We went in on a friday night (wing night) the restaurant was 3/4 full. After about 10 minutes, a waitress politely walked by and stated she'll be right over, no problem. Another 15 minutes and another waitress walked by. We asked if she could get us menus to which she said but you're not in my section. Luckily the bartender saw this and came right over, took our drink order and took our order for wings and nachos. After about 40 minutes, we started to notice that tables that came in a good 20 minutes after us were being served. Finally we got our Nachos, and the beef was still frozen on them. We flagged down a girl, who was originally supposed to be our server (the "I'll be right over" wonder who never was right over) and told her our problem, to which she said she'd get our server! No, take the food, get it out of the way, fix the problem, don't pass the buck. So she took the nachos, they came back very promptly and tasted great. Another 25 minutes passed, we had to ask again for our 4 orders of wings. At this point, the owner had come in to visit and all the wait staff seemed to stop what they were doing to go chat. While the 4 servers huddled to adjust the lighting level, one finally came with the wings. And the wings were excellent. Throughout the meal, we were told that it was too busy for the staff to handle and that was the problem. Suprising figuring that for an almost full restaurant, 5 servers and a bartender could not handle serving 95% wings. In my restaurant, which is triple the size and has a much bigger menu, we wouldn't have much more on than that. The topper on the evening was, on our way out, our original server, who NEVER ONCE stopped by except to remove the frozen nachos after we told her to take them, not find someone to take care of it, who never spoke to us as a server, or offered any more beverages (we had to go to the bar ourselves) had the nerve to comment on the fact that we didn't tip her, we were Cheap! Very classy. Again, the food was excellent, service was horrible, and I'm apparently cheap, won't be back for sure!

The wings are very cheap but they are excellent. The service was not too bad, I have been there many time and have had great service sometimes and not so great service other times.
