2nd review for this place , and again it is exactly what IT should be. Nothing to complain about whatsoever. People have to remember, that this is a chain restaurant!!!! Nothing is really fresh or made to order (from scratch). No restaurant hardly make anything from scratch unless it is a high price sit down white table cloth type of place. To expect handmade/homemade crab cakes for every order is ludicrous. This is not a gourmet steak/seafood restaurant. It is a nicer version of the fast food of seafood. If something IS actually wrong with the food here, they are almost always more than accomodating with pleasing you.
- Order: Colossal Shrimp Platter, Seaside Trio
- Really Disappointing Experience.

I was shocked by how poor the crab cakes were. $10 for 2, yet they were made (I found out later) by the company, not made fresh (come on, how hard is it to toss together and fry a crab cake from fresh?) They had a fishy taste and a greyish interior, despite a nice look on the outside. The seafood salad was also a dissappointment, not just because my dish had some rotted romaine in it (they did taste it and agree and comped me another dish), but that it was small with a mediocre sauce and very tiny portions of seafood on top. A chain like Boston Pizza does a far better, fresher, and larger salad. Breaded fish was fine, but any decent home chef could outdo it, and the crab legs for the kids weren't pre-cut at all: The adults had to work at getting the crab out for the kids, and there was a "cracker" but no scissors or any additional tools. Nor was there any handiwipes for cleaning up after. The flavour of the crab legs were no improvement over frozen crab legs bought at the store and made at home. And was that an unsalted clarified butter it was served with, or some kind of melted margarine? Even the cucumbers and carrots for the kids meals had a strange flavour, and we wondered if they were getting old (like the salad) or if it was the water they washed or soaked them in.
On top of it all, our server had a bad night. That I can forgive, but not the food.
Best thing I can say is the other servers and managers tried to be positive and warm. The kids enjoyed their chocolate and ice cream dessert.
But the whole concept needs work, and much better chefs in the kitchen. There's really no reason or incentive for us to return.
Overall a very disappointing experience that doesn't jib with the commercials on TV.

Can't complain really....excellent service..which I am sure can be hit and miss. Food was really good, and as for the price...not really that bad....nothing to go crazy over. It may be a little expensive for what you get, but that goes without saying with "chain" restaurants. Overall good experience, would go back.

Food was delicious. Melissa our waitress was very nice and efficient. The manager, Jason was extremely nice, he answered my questions about lobster with great knowlege and his sense of humor was great.A little pricey for the amount of food you get but all around delicious. Will definately come again. Thanks Jason and Melissa.

I love Red Lobster, but I really feel that you just don't get your money's worth. The atmosphere is very casual and family friendly- like when you're at Montana's or something. The server seemed a little fake. She was really nice, but a little too much. I would rather go to the Keg close by for atmosphere, great service and quality food. I will go back, but only when I'm dying for seafood!

The Food was of very poor quality (how hard is it to make real mashed potatoes?!)and for a seafood restaurant it would have been nice to at least seen an effort to hide that the food was dumped from a package and thawed on a plate. The atmousphere was out dated and run down. The lighting was too bright, (not a good idea if your not going to keep your restaruant clean). Our server was also wearing a kitchen apron that was filthy, and her hygiene was inapropriate for a dinning room. She also spoke too quitely, didn't ask how our meal was, thus not giving us a chance to complain, and only visited the table to take our order, to drop off our food and to bring us our bill.

The Red Lobster is always one of our favourites for lunch. There's lots to choose from on the menu and the lunch prices are very reasonable. We started with chowder, hot and delicious. Next came the cheese biscuits, fresh from the oven. Our entrees were piping hot and cooked to perfection. Great service and delicious food what else could you ask for?

Restuarant was a tad cold but hey thats alright because everything else was superb. Everything from the host opening the doors for us and greeting us, to the servers making sure we were always looked after and happy. The drinks are amazing especially the specialty frozen drinks. All the food I tried was just cooked to perfection and tasted great. overall an amazing place.
