Nanking Restaurant

I always get take-out and the food is always great! fresh and big portion sizes! I dined in with my co-workers last saturday for the first time and both the food and server was great!

This place has the worst people working in the their it is unreal - their even ignorant on the phone, the same lady ( whatever she is ) is the cockiest person - you almost want to come through the phone.

The only reason i order from their now is they have REAL HOT food when delivered compared to the others.

If i had won the lottery - i would buy them out and make it the best place in Brantford...

Love take out!! .. me and my boyfriend always get the same thing .. but wont go back in again,bad customer service,realli good food always fresh and hot ,,and good portion sizes,the only thing I find bad is the customer skills the people there are lacking,,but i would definatly recomend getting take out from there NOt! going in

I suggest that if you want to eat their food, then make sure that you get delivery. The food is good, but the service is the worst I have ever seen (and we eat out a lot). Every time that we have eaten in there all the staff is extremly rude. When serving you, the food is pretty much thrown at you, and then they watch you in discust while you eat, as if you are bothering them, and they can't wait to get you out, or they just completely ignore you, and you have to go and get them if you need anything. If they improved on their customer service skills, I'm sure the restaurant wouldn't almost always be empty.

My family and I decided to get Chinese one night a few weeks back and it was a HUGE disappointment. We have been ordering from Nanking YEARS ago and have always loved their food. With the new switch in ownership, I have noticed a steep decline in the quality of their food. After reading about their closure by the health inspector in the Brantford Expositor, I have stopped going there, but I thought I'd give it one last chance, and BOY did I make the wrong decision. TO start things off, the lady in the counter was BEYOND rude, and threw my food at me as if I was doing her a favour. Then I brought the food home, and the Egg Rolls were burnt, Kwong Tung Chow Mein was drenched in grease, and the food tasted as if it had been sitting there for ages. I am very disappointed in how this restaurant has declined, and I doubt I will ever go there again.

Ok Chinese food. More like fast food. If your not looking to spend to much then this is the place to buy. China King is the best I've had in Brantford, just pricer.

Nanking is one of the better Not-Really-Chinese food places in Brantford. When you are looking for good egg roll/chicken ball type stuff, this is probably the place. The woman who (I think) owns the place is a little arrogant and doesn't exactly foster a friendly atmosphere.

If you are looking for better chinese food, and a better overall experience, try China King.

Awesome chinese food. Good portion sizes and reasonable priced. Service with a smile. Beats all the local smorg. joints. Consistent returning customers. The best chinese we've found in the city of Brantford.
