Echo Place Family Restaurant

I go for breakfast quite often, and our server Diane is by far one of the most friendliest and happiest servers i have ever encountered in any restaurant. She is a keeper and any restaurant would be happy to have her. The food is wonderful and really quick, And we will be back and invite others with us. Thank you we will be back.

An earlier reviewer used the word I had in mind to describe this place: Astonishing! I went in for lunch because a friend suggested it, and was blown away by the simplest things.

The Chicken Noodle Soup was great! It used broad, flat pasta noodles, and had lots of celery in a terrific chicken broth that rivals my own homemade soups. And loaded with Sweet Basil (and maybe Rosemary) for a flavour possibly better than any soup I've cooked up. I'll be trying to figure out the herbs & spices next time at home.

As well, there was a nice simple grilled cheese sandwich (it was lunchtime) that appealed to me, especially since you could add onion or tomato for 50¢, or even bacon or ham for $1.25. Man was it good -- made with something called ribbon cheese. In any event, it was so good I was actually reluctant to dunk it in my chicken soup as I usually do. And it was dual layered (3 pieces of toast) making it well worth the $5.25 price tag. As well, I was nearly buried in Onion rings. Lots to be had (up graded from the included fries) for only 75¢.

I'm delighted to have found this little gem in an unexpected place. Do yourselves a FLAVOUR and stop in... They have an extensive menu that should happily suit everyone.

wow best reastaurant food i tasted in years ive been to all the reastarants all ovr ontario and the first reastaurant i could ever say tasty and come again i mean the waitresses sometimes there so nice that they dont even like it if you leave a tip the best waitress at that reastaurant was kumuda and all the chefs are excellent so yah my kids cry everyday to go to that reastaurant

I had breakfast one other time here and it was horrible. This time we decided to give it another go and went with friends on a double date before the movies. We got bar food thinking it would be better. Boy were we wrong!!!! The nachos were no name tortilla chips with mozzarella cheese, and salsa in a gravy boat. The cheese wasn't even totally melted and part was burnt. It was disgusting!! What kind of nachos is that?

The Poutine was okay, but very small for 6.00. The Bruschetta was weird, and the wings had no taste for being Hot! Iced Tea was okay.. the only thing really good about this place.

What a rip off! I don't understand how they stay in business? Service was good because there was no one in there!

We hit this place one Monday evening after leaving Sammy's due to the one hour wait. We have been back probably 20 times, more than any other restaurant in town. Why? #1: SERVICE! Which is something universally lacking in this city. #2: Quality of food #3: Variety - Most diverse menu in the city.

Very friendly staff, most accomodating if you have food allergies/sensitivies, very clean place, friendly staff, nice atmosphere!

I loved this restarunt. They had fast services, the waitrress were very nice, the owner/cook was cooperative. The food was astonishing and delicious. The restaurant was really clean.

I actually came in here once before for breakfast and was not impressed at all, it was ok but nothing to make me want to come back. However I went in to apply for a job because they had an add that said they needed help immediately. The owner was so rude, he told me to go back to where I was working before. I know now why they can't find any good staff, the owner is a jerk!!!
