Callahan's Restaurant

My son and I went there for dinner last week. I ordered a vegeterian meal on rice. It was so soaked in Teriaki that I was not able to eat it. It looked more like a soup than a stir fry. My son received a different dish than he ordered. He ordered Chicken Cordon Bleau and got Chicken parmisan! It was the worst meal I had ever had and I barely ate anything.
I would never go back....it was a waste of my time and $

We had our lunch that Wednesday at Callahan's and honestly the sandwiches were poorly prepared -made them on the rush. The service was adequate for such a boring meal. The cabins are really uncomfortable and tiny.

Went out with a couple of friends, started off they did have a drink/cocktail menu. We ordered strawberry daquiri's and they were very sour and awful. We ordered our meals, I had the chicken cordon blue with garlic mashed potatoes and carrots. The chicken looked like it was from M&M meats with terrible tasting marinara sauce, the baby carrots were so over cooked they were all shrivelled up the worst though was the garlic mashed potatoes. They were obviously instant potatoes and they were colder then room temperature, they felt like they just came out of the fridge. The service was terrible. My friend had a salad and poatoe skins and her food was terrible as well. We complained about our food but were only given a 10 percent discount. My meal and drink was almost 20.00 and I could not even eat it because it was soooo bad. We will NEVER be returning to this place again!!!

I eat and drink here all the time and everything is great especially the wings and hamburgers. Its a nice cozy, comfortable place to go.

it was okay, a little slow on the service, food always takes way to long, make sure you have a lot of time if you want to eat there. When i want to make modifications to my meal sometimes when i go they say ok other times i get a no. Very inconsistent.

Visit date is approximate. Just found your website. Got our drinks and appetizers no problem.
Waitress brings out fixings for fajita. My wifes chicken comes out, I await main dish for fajita.
I wait and wait-doesnt come! Waitress goes by a couple of times says nothing. My wife is almost finished and waitress comes to table with a man- he asks me how Im doing! Doesnt even identify himself. Gives no explanation for missing dinner-unbelievable!Waitress brings bill and a coupon for a free meal next visit- thats not going to happen. Try to call restaurant ownership following Monday and end up talking to this man from restaurant- he is a "manager"
I state my total dissatisfaction to no avail- he just wanted to argue with me as if I had done something wrong! Most pathetic restaurant experience I have ever had.

I like this place. It's one of those middle of the road sorts of places. It's not a fast food joint where dinner costs you $5 and it's not a fine dining establishment that is going to empty your pockets.

My son really enjoys this place, especially for the burgers. I am quite partial to the spicy bowtie pasta, myself.

My husband and I have eaten here since before my son was born (over 13 years).

There is a wonderful waitress there, named Jane. She's a real pleasure.

We ordered a 1/2 rack of Pork Back Ribs for $11.49, 1 Lbs of Callahan's royal wings at $10.49 and Nacho Extravaganza for $9.99. The food was delicious, a little understaffed, atmosphere was decent. The only problem at Callahan's is the meal prices. With tax and tip for 3 people we shelled out $55.00?? Good thing this restaurant is nearby an instant bank machine!!!
