Shoeless Joes

My friend and I have been to many restaurants around the world. We have enjoyed fine foods from small family diners to high class fine dining. My friend and I have not only had the opportunity to be a guest and enjoy the food and atmosphere within restaurants, but we have also had the luxury of working within such establishments throughout our lives. Our experience at Shoeless Joe’s in Bradford was a very enjoyable and pleasant experience and rates very high in our vast knowledge of sport themed restaurants.
We enjoyed the selection of wines offered. The Lobster crab and shrimp dip we had as our appetizer was very flavorful. The Baby Back Rib meals that we enjoyed were cooked and flavored to perfection. The meat was very tender and fell right off the bone. The Belgian Chocolate Coffee’s were very unique and delicious. The cookie with vanilla ice cream we ordered for dessert was simple and fabulous. Our Server was attentive, personable, outgoing and really made our experience complete and more than satisfying. We will definitely return to this restaurant if ever we are in the area again.

To “welltravelled1”: I am sure that the management at this restaurant would have been grateful to have been informed of the discrepancy between the menu and their computer system. Since through our experience this is an action the must be taken through the franchise head office and the computer company that they deal with. This clearly had occurred because there were no price discrepancies during our visit. Consider being knowledgeable in how a franchise functions before posting your ‘helpful’ reviews.

For a sportsbar, they should have babyback ribs mastered. They should actually call them 'baby baby back ribs' at this place. The insult was when the bill came and they tried to charge me more than the menu price (which was too high as it was for ribs).
Only way I will go back is if I see a big sign that says "Under new, smarter management that promises not to rob you"!

Man some of the servers are smoking hot! I loved the food. Some Shoeless Joe's like in Newamrket and Sherrin are terribly disgusting. Newmarket shouldn't even be a restaurant, it might as well be a bar for junkies! ridiculous, im from oakville shoeless and bradford has done good for it self with its BOH improvements.

I remember when shoeless joes first opened. It was a reasonable establishment. Now when I go in, I find the food is slow to arrive, Yet horribly overcooked. The beer tastes...Flat. I tried this place a couple times, to maybe see if it was just a stroke of bad luck, but I havent had a decent meal there since the first day it opened. Wouldnt not advise going here

the burgers were over cooked and the lettuce in the ceaser salad was rotting.

I would definetly not recomend this restaurant for there food, but this bar is pretty good. The service was "ok" not the best, got a vibe from the server that she was only in it for the tip just a little fake. Overall i would say the building is clen and well maintained but the food...well lets just say "sucks" nothing special.

Although the bucket of beer that my wife ordered me was great (32 oz Coors Light) the wings were smeared in a disgusting chipotle sauce and the meat of the wings were horribly dry (similar consistency to a twig), the chilli on the nachos’ (which was an extra $2) consisted of a handful of kidney beans and almost no meat. We have eaten at this restaurant twice in the past and although the food was terrible each time we had gone back to see if it had improved. Unfortunately we were grossly disappointed and will never go back to that establishment again. Its only redeeming quality was that our waiter was attentive and brought us our food in a timely manner.

SERVICE WAS GOOD. NOT INTRUSIVE. FOOD WAS HOT LOKKED AND TASETED GOOD

The bar tender/waitress was perky, friendly, honest, and helpfull. She was there when you needed her and gone when you didn't.

The food was well prepared, hot when served, and the presentation while simple, was well done.

The manager was out of site, but seemed to know I had a question about the party room and showed up an unspoken que.

The building is clean, open, comfortable, and inviting. Music was low, but there. The TV was on but not blowing by ear drums. Overall, the layout served the sportster and the quiet diner. Have visited many Shoeless Joes and this one it one of the best.
