Jack Astor's Bar & Grill

I was visiting Innisfil from the United States on business and Jack Aster's was recommended by the hotel staff. My entree was really yummy. I'm going back to Innisfil and will definitely visit the restaurant again.

Loud, crazy, so much goin on! Food was great we did have issues with one meal but they stepped up and things were awesome! Grab a steak and make sure to get garlic bread! Just dont expect a quiet dinner, music/sports/whatever is always goin on!!

We just stopped in for a few snacks after a move. I loved the soup and the garlic bread is to die for! The service was great too. We will be back again soon with larger appetites for a full meal.

My husband ordered a salad and as he was digging in, he found a buckle (looked like off a suppender)
In horor, I was speechless. The district manager offered us coupons, I told her to keep them and we've never been back. Not that it matters to them, but they lost serious regulars to their competitors.

Great Steak, flavour was excellent and it was cooked to perfection. Huge baked potato loaded was extremely good as well. Caesar salad could have used some bacon bits in it but otherwise very tasty. My husband had the clubhouse which he said was really good with a nice flavour and he even liked the fries considering they were not fresh cut but frozen. We will definitely be going back again.

Not much selection, if you want a beer, burger, and rotten fries then go right ahead. Otherwise if you actually like nice dining---stay away! The sabotaged my pasta with bacon chinks when i clearly asked if it could be made without, the waitress was so sure it could, of course it came to my table with meat. Honestly I will never go again, even if it wasn't for the revolting food, I wouldn't go back because of the ditzy crayon drawing waitresses. In addition we had to pull over for my friend to hack after having a drink/club sandwich with fries...NEVER AGAIN!

terrible atmosphere . the music was very loud . i thought that the food was average . the service was bad , and unprofessional. never again.

Everything is excellent at the this restaurant. It's hard to find a restaurant these days that has good service and good food. I come in once a week and always have great service.

Probably the worst service ever! I notified the Manager on duty and he gave me a "comment card" the he would give to the general manager. I told him that everyone in this section has been getting the same crappy service and he didn't seem to care. He said that he'll look into it and went back in to the kitchen. Awe yes the kitchen, our section of table also got to witness a food fight in the kitchen (I also included on the "comment card") I left my e-mail on this "comment card" and still no reply (which I was informed is "standard practice") The food was good, the beer was cold, but thats where it stops. With so many "Great" spots to eat in Barrie's south end I wouldn't go here again. I gave them time to correct the problem (Just let me know that it is not a common occurance, alas it seems that it is "standard practice") Nobody seemed bothered so I can only go buy what the entire section of guests when through this Thursday night.

I do feel this is a great dining place for families. Just how are people supposed to teach their children how to "behave" in public if they never take them in public! I am sick of hearing people criticize parents - cut them some slack already - children are our future. Those who can't accept them in public should just stay home! I have seen much worse behaviour from adults than I ever have from children - kids will be kids and thats just what they should be. The guy who reviewed and cut them up sounds like an ASS himself!
