Fish Bowl

15 min wait for the server to come to the table........ our server was also the bartender.... we waited 15 min for our first round of drinks..... then we waited another 10 min for our food order... i would have made a stink but it was my soon to be mother in laws birthday. my salad came with a sticker in it... i had to flag a hostess down because not one sever was around. it took 10 min to replace a salad... my stirfry then hair in it it took 15 min till the manager came to apologize with his tail in between his legs.
if i was the owner fire all your staff and do a flip because you could make 10x more money with a better team.

Bland and boring food and over priced. The atmosphere is really nice and the service was friendly. But I would never go back based on the food.

Worst food ever. We both ordered the Surf and Turf for Barrielicious and it was horrible. Steak was worse than what you used to get at ponderosa and the lobster Tail was dried out, rubbery.
Awful, would never go back!

Had some chicken thing, was excellent, stuffed mushrooms to start, I dont even like mushrooms but they are fantastic, and cheap. Good experience overall

Stopped in here while travelling and was pleasantly surprised by the quality.
The decor is very nice, quite swanky and modern for a fish restaurant -- nice change form the tacky fishing nets and plastic fish the other seem to feel they nee don the walls. Bathrooms were very clean -- generally a good sign

The fish and chips were excellent, I had the salad with the fish (haddock) which was also quite good.

Service was a little sketchy -- hard to get a hold of our waitress several times.
Worth a visit

We had a fantastic dinner at the Fishbowl. The decor was very attractive and the seating comfortable and not too close together.

The server was a little slow at times, but pleasant and eventually brought the drinks we asked for.

The food was wonderful. They live up to their name in terms of the preparation and presentation of delicious, well-prepared dishes. The grilled fish was perfectly cooked and the marinade was delicious. The fish and chips were ideal - right down to the fries having skin on and being perfectly browned. The appetizers were delightful.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

I tried this restaurant in Timmins and I was really glad when then opened here in Barrie. Great food, great service.
