The food is overpriced but I'm happy about the 21+ rule on weekends. I went with some friends last weekend and there was a huge line up but the line moved fast. They've recently opened a bar on the patio which helps with the trouble of not being able to get a drink. I found myself ordering two drinks at a time just so I wouldn't have to go back as often. This is the ultimate Cougar Bar. Older women in short skirts and low cut tops are plentiful here. If you're a man in your 20s they will throw themselves at your feet. My main problem with this place is it's hard to get served and there aren't enough washrooms. There's a single washroom and then at the very back of the place is two more but that's it. If you go here you're guaranteed a cougar or two. Just remember-Don't feed the animals.

My wife had her Birthday gathering here, and I must say I was impressed from start to finish! I loved the layout of the resturant itself, very uptown. And the live band got all the women in our party on the dance floor. One was lucky enough to dance with "lucky larry" himself! The service was excellent and the waiter was on top of everything. I unfortunately was not feeling the best that day so only was able to experince the mussels in white wine for myself, but I heard nothing but good things from everyone at our table, including the vegetarin's!
- Order: Mussels, labatt blue's

We've been to Aw SHucks a few times since moving to Aurora last year and have always enjoyed ourselves, the atmosphere and especially the food. Not this past time. I almost lost a filling on the pork, and the beans tasted like they came from a can. My wife said the snapper was very fishy and almost inedible. I love lobster. I love ravioli. Together they taste fantastic. But with vanilla? I'm in to new things, but vanilla. I lost my appetite, everything tasted like vanilla seafood after that. I read in the paper there was a new chef at Aw Shucks and gave him a try. We're sorry we did. What happened to the old guy?
- Order: We had the pork belly to start, my wife had snapper, I had lobster ravioli.

Outstanding restaurant, nice quiet cozy dining room had a drink at the bar while we waited for our table. Bartender(bobby) talked us into some fresh oysters which was a great idea. Stuck around later on for the live entertainment. Definately going back next week.
- Order: Fried Oyster(must get these) Duck Confit(outstanding with the risoto) martini to start and a bottle of tom eddy

Our first time to Aw, Shucks and it was amazing! The food was outstanding, the service was helpful and accomadating, but there should have been more servers, only one with six tables is a bit much and we didn't get full attention. Didn't have enough room for dessert but looked just as tantalizing. Will definitely be back.

Sevice was very good.
We had an outstanding meal and enjoyable evening.
Will be back soon. - Order: We shared some appetizers, fried oysters (outstanding), crabcake (very good)& grilled calamari (very tasty). For entrees two of us ordered the seafood linguinne, veal medallions & duck confit. My friend had the duck and said that it was fantastic. All our entrees were great and came out very hot. We did not try any desserts. We shared a nic bottle of shiraz and pinot grigio.

It was a disappointment. Menu choices are poor. There isn't much sea food in it to be called a sea food restaurant. We were surprised that a resturant with price tags like that do not have "1000-island" salad dressing, and "French salad dressing" turned out to be some sort of vinaigrette instead.
It was a very hot, humid day but the air conditioning wasn't on, not even a fan. It cost us nearly $40 for two orders of fish'n chips and one soft drink (which is the cheapest meal on menu). - Order: Fish and Chips, coke. Fish and Salad.

The salad was crisp and the dressing was average.
The pasta was undercooked and the sauce tasted like it was commercially prepared and then warmed.
The Lobster Special was horrible - My wife was unable to eat it, because of the rubbery texture.
However, the most disappointing experience of our dinner occurred when my wife returned the Lobster after attempting to chew it. Rather than not charging us for the Lobster Dinner, the Manager offered my wife and I Liqueurs.
Will never visit Aw Shucks again! - Order: Hearts of Romaine with grainy mustard dressing Linguine with Tiger Shrimp, Scallops - Rose Sauce Lobster Special
