WOW My mouth is completely spoiled

Just moved to Ancaster & Sfoozi was recommended as the best restaurant in the village. The Owner recommended the Wine for us and it was awesome. Our Apps were wonderful and then came the Scrimp & scallops, Atlantic salmon, Sea food Linguine & a Pork tenderloin. Everything was cooked to perfection. Best food & service we have all ever had. Now I know why it's the best restaurant in Ancaster. We are all hooked and plan to make it our regular place to eat. Thanks for a great evening!

The brunch buffet doesn't dazzle - while it offers both breakfast fare, pasta and greens, I was disappointed in the lack of imagination.

The food was tasty and well cooked, but the homefries, waffles, muffins and croissants were obviously brought in. Waffles and homefries appeared to have been of the prepackaged frozen variety.

The fruit salad appeared to be fresh and seasonal, the rasperry topping seemed to be fresh raspberries, crushed with nothing added, which was a pleasant surprise.

The coffee, as usual, was delicious.

The servers are well trained and very pleasant to deal with.

We had walked out of 2 other restaurants and tried Sfoozi because it was close. I have since been back for the Sfoozi wrap because it was amazingly delicious!

Was on my way through Ancaster and decided to stop through to meet some old friends for lunch. We decided to try Sfoozi's. I am not 100% sure what everyone else ate, but I remember having the Monticristo sandwich because it was delicious. All around, the experience was just very pleasant, combined with seeing old friends, good food, great atmosphere and very friendly service. I was thoroughly impressed. Hopefully I have the chance to make it back someday.

Well i have been to this restaurant a number of times, it seems as of late that they have cut their menu in half. I miss the other options i used to have availible to me. but toher then that the food was great as always. though i don't know how many more time i will be going backl as i have moved away.

Wow. Can this restaurant ever get a break? Even when someone rises up to defend Sfoozi after a totally ignorant review, this "supporter" actually gave the restaurant an even lower score, in error I'm sure.
It's clear that absolutely everyone who regularly visits this restaurant knows that it does not have a debit machine. It can be inconvenient at times, but we all know it AND accept it. The truth is that Sfoozi is really just a small operator competing against much bigger places. So unless you want to eat plastic food from those other chains, I suggest we all start supporting the "little guys" who probably aren't making much money at all, especially at their pricing. The food here is great, the portions are huge & the price is really the best value around. It really is the best looking place to go to on a regular basis without spending too much at all. They actually have the cheapest draft beer and wine in all of Ancaster. Hey Sfoozi - don't take it too hard. All your regulars are here to support you, even when we mistakenly submit the wrong scores. P.S. - don't ever buy a debit machine if it means you would have to increase menu prices just to pay for it. Your pricing is just as important as the food you serve. Good luck.

Honestly , debit machine lose signals. its true , i work in a restaurant. And i mean ya interac machines are a pain but stop being a cheap ass and pay the 1.50. Thats a stupid reason to ban such a good restaurant. Grow up

I was at Sfoozi the night that Mr Parcher has his little tantrum at the staff for the lack of interac. I thought this was very rude of him, he treated the staff with no respect and stormed off to find a bank machine. I could hardly control my laughter at such a petty move, he balked at the whole $1.50 service charge....1.50...I mean, come off of it.

One last point, it is clear that MR Parcher has no memory, if you read down about 3 negative review there is a complaint from August 2006 that clearly states that there was no interac machine.

So, Mr Parcher, its fine that you never come back to Sfoozi, that was you cant ruin the meals of other patrons.

We have had the opportunity to eat both in the restaurant and through take out several times. We have never had a complaint to lodge. The management must think that the customers are not very smart. Previously, you could pay your bill by debit card, not now - did you know that they can not receive the signal for debit card - NONSENSE! But they do have a ATM cash grab machine that costs you $1.50 to use - that they get a part of - which will accept a debit card. By the time, I went to a real bank machine, got cash, my food was still waiting at the hostess table - not even under heat lights. You guessed it, when I got home the food was cold. NEVER AGAIN.
