I ate here with a friend last Saturday night while a UFC fight was on. The place was very lively.

The service was good. I have no complaints about us being seated or served. Friendly staff, quick service.

My nachos were good. Very unique tasting. I've tried a lot of places' nachos and these were much different.

I had the Opa Pizza. My biggest complaint was it tasted like it was a frozen grocery store pizza. It didn't taste like authentic "New York" pizza like the description said.

I've been here in the past, and probably won't return because the menu is very skimpy for vegetarians.

I was shocked at how good the food is here!..Maybe because it is a test restaurant they have to keep on their toes. Two out of the tree visits i had outstanding food. The signature chicken fingers were a disappointment. The Fish and Chips were great the fresh baked apple pie was decadent, the steak was cooked properly! Kudos and keep up the good work

i love this place i always order the buffalo chicken wings with mild sauce. they have this ranch sauce they give you and that sauce is amazing. i love the fries as well.

next time you go, try this... they make their own vanilla coke, so one night i thought, why dont they put a shot of vanilla in the orange pop? creamsicle pop? oh yes! try that its amazing.

service is great. only one time did i go there and they didnt serve us for at least 20 minutes no drinks or anything and the manager came along and said have you been served and we said no so she said that all our appetizers are free. sweet.\

the service and food are great here. always leave satisfied.

Cherry cola, Ha fountain pop and gloppy syrup on the bottom, get a blender. Fish was greasy, chips soggy, service not to be found and crammed in like sardines. I guess they need the money. Montannas is better deal and food.

yawn, corporate restaurants just can not deliver the quality and authenticity that privately owned ma and pop sort of restaurants can.
When I go out to dinner all I want is real food cooked to order,served with the sort of service that says "we are happy to have you here"

Previously, my friend & I have dined here fairly often, and found it to be fairly decent. Sadly, this time may well be the last. The service was quite reasonable; the food was a disappointment.

My friend had the wild mushroom soup - it was quite enjoyable. He was less than impressed with his order of chicken wings. It didn't list honey-garlic sauce on the menu, but if you ask for it, they have it. The wings were very dry and 'fibrous' and the sauce was apparently applied with an eye dropper. Why are there so many restaurants out there that simply cannot get wings right? It just ain't rocket science!

The chicken dish I ordered was a disappointment as well. It came with garlic mashed potatoes and veggies. I did ask for lots of gravy on the chicken and potatoes (I admit it - I'm a peasant at heart). It came with a thin veneer of gravy on the chicken only. I asked for more and was told there would be an extra charge (c'mon people!). A tiny dish, not quite half full was provided for 99 cents extra (the entree was itself 14.95 already). The gravy, BTW, was rather bland and uninspired - I've had as good chicken gravy out of a can, and that is NOT a compliment!

On the whole, there's a nearby Montana's we wished we'd gone to instead.

Ordered the chicken & rib combo assuming this would be the ideal signature dish. Unfortunately the chicken was incredibly dry if not old. I don't think they are selling enough chicken like Swiss Chalet. Otherwise, my chicken would have at least been fresh. The edges of the chicken was actually hard & dry.
My Server did not bother to question why my the majority of my combo was consumed nor was she sensitive to our overt disatisfaction. My guest and I endured standard "big box" service. The rib portion of my platter was average - nowhere near what I thought it would be. In terms of "northern or cottage cuisine", I had both better food & service at Turtle Jacks.

I go to jack's all the time, its one of my favourite restaurants. Try the manchurian vegetable pasta with chicken, its like a japanese style meal its really good. Jack's is a great place!
