Sam & Ellas Chicken Palace

Not only is the food awesome, but so is the service. It may be a little more expensive, but is worth it!

Just a block away from Ernie Coli's chili joint, (read as E. Coli) , Sam & Ella's (salmonella) Chicken serves the best pizza around. I've never tried their sandwiches, but I hear they are wonderful as well. Located in the Locally historic Redmen Shop, they kept the old decorative ceiling and the soda fountain bar. They have been featured in magazines.
Although the pizza is more expensive than a trip to the local Pizza Hut, it's far superior, Made with high quality ingredients, loads of cheese, and offering fancier choices, such as feta cheese as a topping. With appetizer, and a large pizza,everything on it, with a couple extra toppings runs about $35 for five, with enough pizza left over for another meal later! I have never eaten better pizza in my life, and the spinach/artichoke appetizers are divine.

The fun starts with the name. This is a small, college town, pizza joint. It's just one of those places that you need to visit for yourself to experience.
